Hello, good afternoon to all the beautiful people in this community. This is my first post here, and very grateful to my friend @lizelle, for telling me about this space. I am a collector of many things, especially objects from the 80's and 90's, among other things.

Today I want to make my presentation, with a collection of my adolescence of which I keep only a part because over time some pieces were lost, others were damaged, but there is something safe to share.

Did anyone in the community suffer from Acute Menuditis? I had it when I was 13 and enjoyed it for quite a while. I bought their records, notebooks, T-shirts, posters, and even went to a couple of concerts in my city, and in a neighboring city.

It was the beautiful era of the 80's, when being a fan of an artist or a group, made us form fan clubs to sing and dance all their choreographies, as well as organize those concert attendances practically uniformed with the big name of the group on our t-shirts.

I would have loved for technology to be around at that time, just to have photographic records to the max. But the memories are beautiful.

In these discs you can admire the first members of the group Menudo; Oscar, Fernando, Ricky, Johnny, and Rene... and little by little, in each disc you can see that some member is no longer there, and in his place is another one. I also got an album with their best songs, called “Menudo de Colección”. That album sold out in the first week of sales in my city, so I earned my prize, hahahaha.

In the group Menudo there was a rule that once a member reached the age of majority, he had to retire and make way for another teenager. That's how Xavier and Miguel entered the group instead of Oscar and Fernando... and that's how the menudomania or acute menuditis continued, changing its members.

My favorite was René, and when he retired, my Menudo fever also ended, although I continued listening to them when they formed the group Proyecto M, now more grown up.

_{Hola, buenas tardes a toda la gente bella de esta comunidad. Es mi primera publicación aquí, y muy agradecida con mi amiga @lizelle, por hablarme de este espacio. Soy coleccionista de muchas cosas, sobre todo de objetos de los años 80 y 90, entre otras cosas.}

_{Hoy quiero hacer mi presentación, con una colección de mi adolescencia de la que guardo tan sólo una parte ya que con el tiempo algunas piezas se me perdieron, otras se dañaron, pero queda algo a salvo para compartir.}

_{Se trata de los discos de acetato del Grupo Menudo. ¿Alguien en la comunidad sufrió de Menuditis Aguda? Yo la tuve a mis 13 años y la disfruté por un buen tiempo. Compraba sus discos, libretas, franelas, afiches, y hasta fui a un par de conciertos en mi ciudad, y en una ciudad vecina.}

_{Era la época hermosa de los años 80, en la que ser fan de un artista o un grupo, nos hacía formar clubes de fans para cantar y bailar todas sus coreografías, así como también organizar esas asistencias a los conciertos prácticamente uniformadas con el gran nombre del grupo en nuestras franelas.}

_{Me habría encantado que la tecnología estuviera en aquel momento, únicamente para tener registros fotográficos hasta más no poder. Pero los recuerdos son hermosos.}

_{En estos discos se pueden admirar los primeros integrantes del grupo Menudo; Óscar, Fernando, Ricky, Johnny, y René… y poco a poco, en cada disco se observa que ya no está algún integrante, y en su lugar se encuentra otro. También obtuve un disco con sus mejores canciones, que se llamaba “Menudo de Colección”. Ese álbum se agotó en la primera semana de ventas en mi ciudad, así que me gané mi premio, jajajaja.}

_{En el grupo Menudo había una norma, que una vez que un integrante cumpliera la mayoría de edad, debía retirarse y darle paso a otro adolescente. De esa forma entran al grupo Xavier y Miguel en lugar de Óscar y Fernando… y así continúa la menudomanía o menuditis aguda, cambiando sus integrantes.}

_{Mi favorito era René, y cuando él se retiró, también se terminó mi fiebre de Menudo, aunque seguí escuchándolos cuando formaron el grupo Proyecto M, ya más creciditos.}
