DIRECT CONTACT WITH WILDLIFE

Hello, happy afternoon. A very nice greeting to all, wishing you all a good start of the week. Early in the morning I resumed my morning walks, I do not want to lose my rhythm since the recent 5 km pink walk in support of breast cancer patients.

You already know that I live in a plains town, where contact with nature in this type of region is quite common in the surrounding areas, and where raising a horse, a cow or a sheep in the gardens is the same as raising a puppy or a cat.

Near the small urban area, there are farm-style houses that have been built for many years, even before the center of the city was populated a little. Here the lifestyle is not the same as in the neighboring city of El Tigre, where there are already more urban than rural sectors, and you don't see such rural scenarios.

In this previous month, I had the opportunity to walk and visit nearby places where contact with domestic animals became more frequent. It is common to find community kittens and puppies that are cared for by local people, as well as sadder cases of abandoned animals that we try to spread the word so that they can be adopted.

It is also common to see goats and sheep grazing in the garden, they even go out to the sidewalks to do their job of pruning the weeds, of course, supervised by someone for their protection.

The life of the countryside is beautiful, I love the work of the “llanero” to take the cattle to graze, milk the cows, take them to the nearby river, herd them on the horses and these, give us their elegance when they let themselves be admired in the middle of the plain with their natural gallantry.

These are the animals that abound in my town, the place where I live, not to mention the little birds that visit me very early in the morning and give me the gift of their trill, and the rooster that in the distance tells us that a new day has begun.

Thank you for visiting my blog and for sharing with me these wonderful manifestations of nature. Happy Monday.
