Social Media Challenge: My Scholarship Account

It's Wednesday and the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge has come out. This is the first time I have participated in this challenge. We know that the price of crypto has been falling lately, including SPS and Dec tokens. The value of the assets I have in this game keeps falling so sometimes I'm not excited to play this game. I don't have strong decks so every play I have to rent some cards at splinterlands market or through Peakmonsters. I am looking for a Splinterlands scholarship provider so that I can still play this game comfortably without having to bother thinking about whether I want to bounce or not. Finally, at the beginning of March I received a scholarship account from NFTy Arcade. Who is NFTy Arcade? Let's watch the video below

I got 2 Splinterlands accounts from NFTy Arcade with IGN @na-spl-6 and @na-spl-50. The deck I got was full of Chaos Legion cards that could play in the Gold 3 league. I get 4 summoners on each account. Let's review the cards of each account.

Summoners

NA-SPL-6 gets Kelya Frendul level 5, Obsidian level 5, Thaddius Brood level 5 and Summoner Legendary Dragon Quix The Devious level 3. It's a lot of fun playing an element that does become my favorite when playing a personal account.

In another account, I get Tersa level 5, Kelya Frendul level 5, Thaddius Brood level 5 and Quix The Devious level 3. Although I was not interested in Tarsa before, but it was pretty good because I also got the water, death and dragon elements. Although various Splinterlands players should be able to use all the elements because they are all strong in certain rulesets, and this is great because I can get the opportunity to learn to use decks that I previously rarely used.

Monsters

Water

In the water element, the cards received NA-SPL-6 and NA-SPL-50 are almost the same, the difference is only in the type of regular foil or gold foil card. Another difference is that na-SPL-50 receives a level 1 Pelacor Bandit delegation, but I don't think this includes the meta prepared for this element. Only for power delegates to fit in 100,000 power. Although the card obtained is not a max level of the gold league, but all the abilities for the gold league are already open. The strategy that we can use with this card is to rely on speed. As much as possible kill all the opponent's cards before they attack again. In the battle with high manacap, double healing Angelic Mandarin and Mardali Guardian with Demonshark front tank and second tank Wave Brood can also be tried. In low manacap battles, the Combo Demonshark with Trample and Enrage abilities and Mardali Guardian with Thank Heal and Repair abilities is also quite strong. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the meta on this element water.

Death

NA-SPL-6 and NA-SPL-50 get 15 delegate cards of the same type and level. I am quite satisfied with the cards that I got. Strong enough for low and medium manacap battles. This deck is also the best choice for countering magic attacks. Cursed Windeku with Heal and Thorn ailities is my farorit. The combination of this card with Silent Sha-Vi which has high speed and Life Shaper often produces unexpected results.

In battles with high manacap, if there are alternative elements available then I will choose to use other elements. I think the downside of this deck is that the amount of HP is lower than other elements. however, if there are no alternative elements, using the Cursed Windeku and Djinn Muirat double tanks can also be used.

Earth

NA-SPL-6 received a delegation of 15 earth element cards. This deck is strong enough to survive in the Gold League. I got a level 4 Grund delegate with Double Strike and Trample abilities. It would be great if Trample on this monster was already active and saw him slaughter the opposing monsters with the double strike he had.

Many strategies can be used with this earth deck. For example, in high manacap battles can use Grund in firs position and Mycelic Slipspawn with Taunt as second tank. Goblin Psychic healing Grund and Queen Mycelia healing Mycelic Slipspawn. Sometimes the full magic damage attack is very powerful, but it can be used continuously and it is also easy to be countered by the opponent. The best option is to combine melee, range and magic attacks at the same time.

The disadvantage of this deck is that the average card can have a low speed. This is an advantage for reverse speed rulesets, but for ordinary battles there will be a possibility that these monsters die quickly before they can attack the opponent.

Fire

NA-SPL-50 received a delegation of 17 fire element cards. All these cards are actually quite powerful, even I got a level 4 Tusk The Wide delegation with Void and Inspire abilities so there is no need to be afraid if I get a magic attack from the opponent. I also got Forgotten One level 4 with immunity ability which is very useful on poison ruleset. In addition, I got a delegation of 3 magic cards that have considerable damage. Actually I'm quite familiar with Tarsa+magic meta, but it turns out to be quite fun using this combo.

Dragon

Both accounts are getting 4 legendary Dragon Monsters, one of which is a Summoner. NA-SPL-6 gets Chaos Dragon while NA-SPL-50 gets Desert Dragon. I think Chaos Dragon is very powerful, but it only fits in high manacap. Desert Dragon is suitable for use on certain rulesets such as Super Sneak, or Opportunity on high manacap. In addition, I also got void dragon on both accounts. This monster is one of the favorite monsters, because it has only 5 mana but has a high speed and is accompanied by the ability of Flying, Void, and Phase which makes it difficult to attack.

Neutral

NA-SPL-6 only accepts 1 neutral monster, Disintegrator level 6. This monster is quite useful on certain rules because have Demoralize and Trample abilities, but to be honest I am not very interested in this monster.

Just like NA-SPL-6, NA-SPL-50 also only accepts 1 neutral monster, that is Chaos Agent level 6. Compared to Disinegrator, I prefer this monster. In the battle low manacap, this monster can become a mini tank. Even without damage, but this monster has Dodge and Phase abilities.

Overall I can conclude that the deck selection for the Scholarship account from NFTy Arcade was not perfunctorily selected, but was prepared to occupy the top rating of the gold league. In below is the result of the 2 accounts I played.
