Yogyakarta has never lost its tourist attraction. In fact, even ordinary rice fields can be interesting tourist attractions that are worth visiting. This vast expanse of rice fields is located in Pronosutan Hamlet, Kembang Village, Nanggulan District, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta. In recent months, especially when the Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia, the rice fields owned by these residents have become increasingly famous on social media. There are beautiful photos circulating with a backdrop of green rice fields with concrete roads dividing them.

What makes it unique is probably because it looks like a meadow. Yes, that's one of the attractions, if you look at it using a drone from above, there's a white concrete road and the side looks like a green carpet," said one of the residents around Pronosutan View named Anang.According to him, Pronosutan View first went viral and became known to the public because of a photo uploaded on Instagram. At that time, the photo uploaded was a photo of a rice field from above taken using a drone.Tourists who come can do various tourist activities there, one of which is of course taking selfies with a backdrop of rice fields. There are three roads in a row dividing the rice fields which are usually planted with rice and secondary crops. Taking photos in the middle of the street with rice fields that resemble a green carpet on the right and left of the road is the most popular activity.

Pronosutan View Kulon Progo rice fields seen from the air. Tourists can bring in their vehicles, such as bicycles and motorbikes, except cars. Vehicles can also be used as photo props. Many tourists also cycle around Pronosutan View. Many people intend to bring their own bicycles or even cycle from Yogyakarta. Tourists who like cycling, said Anang, are one of the reasons why Pronosutan View is becoming increasingly well known. “If it really went viral, it was during the pandemic yesterday. So it's not very well known. Only people who actively monitor Instagram and are curious (come). "But after yesterday's pandemic, many cyclists came here and made this popular," explained Anang.

One reason is that the track around Pronosutan View is suitable for cycling. The road conditions are good, not too far, so it is suitable for just refreshing. Residents around Pronosutan View also provide bicycle rental for tourists who don't bring bicycles, but want to take a leisurely bike ride around the tourist area. The rates are affordable, only IDR 10,000 for the first hour and IDR 5,000 for the second hour, and so on. This rate is valid until the end of November 2020. For December 2020, the rate increases to IDR 15,000 in the first hour and IDR 5,000 in the second hour and so on. However, the bonus is that bicycle renters will get a bottle of mineral water. Not only taking photos and cycling, tourists also don't need to worry about being hungry when traveling here. There are several stalls selling food and drinks, such as Geblek Pari Nanggulan, Banyu Bening Iwak Kalen, Kopi Klotok, and Kopi Ampirono.
