Removing coconut skin is a tricky. Also, we need extra energies especially for big coconut size like in my area

We need a machete to remove the outer skin of the coconut. For young coconut, we dont need to remove all outer skin. We just need to remove the top and the bottom part, so we can get young coconut water and young coconut meat.

This method of opening a coconut is full of sensation and is very dangerous if someone is not careful when doing it.

This is a good information you shared. I remembered my first time doing this thing, I slashed myself with the matchette I was using before I could learn it well..😁😁That's why we learn differently

Oh, wow! This is a method that really works. Since coconut doesn't grow in Turkey, we buy it unshelled. I've tasted it once before but I must admit I didn't like it very much. I love coconut chocolates and cakes but not coconut milk haha.
