Life is strange. Is not it? It always has a different side and we change so quickly.

When we were little, we really liked sweet things. Candy, cake, we don't even care if it makes us have a toothache. Pleasure comes first and our minds are not yet mature at that time.

As an adult it is the opposite. We (or you could say this is especially true for me) don't like things that are too sweet. Like monotonous things that are actually boring. That's how it is if only sweetness is felt.

Maybe, we need more challenging things. Things that stimulate adrenaline in our blood. Like a refreshing splash of a little sourness to the mostly sweet taste in food.

I don't know, what about you guys? I feel like I'm starting to get bored with the sweet taste. But, again, there will be times when we behave in the opposite way.

Is It A Good Time For Sweet Tastes?

Is there a right time to eat sweet desserts? Maybe when you want to relax and escape from your boring daily activities. Exactly, this Friday afternoon I felt bored at home.

Seeing the same routine makes me want to see something different. Even if it's just a stopover at a place not far from home.

So, my loving husband asked me to go. He understands, if I don't work on making creative dishes, he says, then I'm bored and need to find fresh air somewhere outside other than home.

We stopped at a place not far from home. The area I live in is a plantation area that is still beautiful. So, there are many cafes in the area near here.

Named "Dylan Coffee" we stopped before dark to relax for a while. We sat in the top area of the cafe.

Located on the 3rd floor, visitors can see the area around the cafe which is covered with lots of green trees. Also, rice fields. It's just that at this time I didn't take photos of the rice field area because I was cleaning up the plants that had been harvested. So, it will be bad for a while when the rice crops are harvested.

Well, I ordered the "Lava Cake" menu because I was craving for a sweet treat. I didn't expect that there would be expectations that didn't match expectations.

I don't know, I just don't like things that are too sweet anymore. Or, they serve cakes that are over-sweet.

Lava Cake With Sweet Creams

In a way, they are right. Lava, that means too much. So they serve excessive sweetness.

The choco lava cake itself is too sweet. Plus strawberry ice cream and sweet cream! Oh God! I feel like I can't handle all of this 🤣 I feel like running away.

One thing that I think is strange is that they failed to represent the shape of the lava that should come out of the middle of the cake when the cake is scooped.

In fact, the middle of the lava cake is too dense so the chocolate filling cannot melt. 🤣 Oops ✌️

I always try to make the best food possible. I also keep eating sweet desserts which I call triple boom, they are so outrageously sweet! Which bombed my mouth with the sweet madness of chocolate, strawberry ice cream, and vanilla cream!

Indeed, in the end my husband finished the menu because he couldn't refuse his wife's request 🤣

There is no food left. Thankful for that. Then, I ordered a sour drink to neutralize the sweet taste.

I ordered "Iced Tamarillo Juice" with a dominant sour taste and a little sweet. With the atmosphere cloudy with rain, there was still a little time before dark to enjoy the day.

Under the table, our hands held together. Thank you today, for the tiredness that is relieved by love. ❤️ There is always gratitude for that. And, I save my kisses for at home 😛
