Serving Rage Gourame Fish To Break Boredom
Spicy games are endless. One of them serves to break the boredom when we don't have an appetite.
Do you have certain foods that you add to your list of side dishes when you don't have an appetite? It might be a soup dish, or something spicy or sweet.
For me, spicy food becomes the main food list for my helper when I have no appetite. Including also to reduce dizziness when I'm tired.
My partner doesn't worry about that either. We have the same tastes, although my partner is not as good as me to enjoy the extra level of spiciness.
So, this time I will share a menu that my partner and I enjoyed at the Swiss Belinn Hotel. The same hotel about me sharing about the colorful breakfast.
Swiss Belinn In Room Dining
That night we were lazy to leave the room. Luckily, this hotel is available in-room dining. On the table, there is a barcode to be scanned, containing the menu they provide.
Not so much variety on the menu provided. But there is one menu that has fish ingredients that caught my attention.
The menu is called "Raging Widow Gourami Fish". This is a menu of fried gourami served with a special sauce from the Malay Deli tribe.
I imagine chili sauce (sambal) which is spicy and delicious to tempt my taste buds. So I ordered this menu.
Raging Gourami Fish
The Gurame Fish Raging menu is served with warm rice. Also complement raw fresh vegetables, such as pieces of cabbage, pieces of tomatoes, and lettuce.
Fried Gourami, with a crunchy texture. Combined with warm rice, also special sauce/sambal, it really broke my appetite.
The chili sauce/sambal uses a type of green chili that is cooked in a lot of oil until fragrant, also spicy, and savory.
However, for the level of spiciness of the green chili sauce/sambal, it is not commensurate with the red chili. But still appetizing.
For the Gourami meat itself, it is quite thick and soft. It had the right level of doneness and didn't have a fishy taste.
My partner also likes this menu, especially the green sauce/sambal which can be called special. It's just that, we regret it because the portion of chili sauce / chili sauce served is not enough for the two of us.
For the portion of Gourami fish it's quite a lot. My partner and I only ate a portion and still felt full and satisfied. ❤️😍😍😍
The night was quite hot, and I chose mixed juice, carrot with orange. Served with separate sugar so that we can adjust the level of sweetness of the drink.
aaaaah, super fresh! Suitable for soothing the tongue after being filled with spicy sensations. Helped me who did not have an appetite at that time.
That was my story about the Gourami Fish menu which was quite interesting. I enjoy it through the in-room dining service at the Swiss Belinn hotel at Medan City.

I am not familiar with that type of fish here, but the body of it looks like it is cooked well and would be tasty. I am not used to having fish on my plate with the head still on it....LOL.... but I do see it on the internet in other places. 😊
My partner love this one 🤣 just because of him lol
This dish reminds me about a similar one that my dad used to cook for me. He love fishing and he have several ponds around my house so whenever I visit him, he will make fish meals for me, fry, steam, bbq... oh dear I miss it
We Miss our dad 🤗❤️
