Deliciously Scented Pudding From Pandan Leaves Ingredients
What are your favorite desserts? Ice cream, sweet cakes, pudding, or something else? I'm sure each of us has a favorite dessert that we always want to enjoy at any given moment.
For me, the choice of my favorite desserts is also influenced by the preferences of my family members. I like sweet cakes, also I like pudding made from agar powder (plant-based jelly).
I often make pudding. With a wide variety of ingredients available. That's also because the pudding is very easy to vary.
So this time I will invite you to make pudding from the main ingredients of pandan leaves. I've often discussed about pandan leaves on my food blog.
These pandan leaves produce a beautiful natural green color, in addition to creating a nice aroma.
I also often use pandan leaves as a natural fragrance in my kitchen. So this plant is very useful especially for Asian families to cook Asian cuisines.
THE GREEN COLOR FROM PANDAN LEAVES
The green color of the Pudding uses natural dyes from pandan leaves. Actually, the final result of the pudding could be greener. But because I don't have white sugar in stock, I ended up using brown sugar which ultimately affected the color of this pudding.
But I don't think it's a problem at all. The color of the pudding still looks beautiful. Is not it?
THE INGREDIENTS
- Agar powder, 5-7 grams
- a handful of pandan leaves to make 500 ml of pandan juice
- 1 cup of sugar, you can use white sugar or brown sugar
- 400 ml of coconut milk
- Sprinkle of salt

For puddings that are rectangular in shape, I cut them first. I cut with random shapes according to what was in my mind at that time. I tried my best to make the pudding look good after it was cut into smaller pieces.
For the snowman form, oh they look so cute. And…..as usual, one of my youngest nephews finished this quickly after I finished shooting the pudding.
I am quite amazed by the taste of this pudding. I like the creamy taste that comes from the coconut milk ingredients. Meanwhile, pandan leaves carry a nice color and a pleasant aroma.
For brown sugar, it provides a sweeter that is more savory and distinctively fragrant than when only using white sugar ingredients.
That was about my creation from my kitchen that uses edible leaves, pandan leaves for a delicious and alluring pudding with a fragrant aroma. I hope you guys have a nice weekend ❤️❤️❤️
