Craving A New Variant of Donut

Experience a special day with sweet treats.

I really like donuts. But I'm grateful that I can restrain myself from only occasionally eating donuts. That actually makes the donut taste special from the longing taste it creates.

That's right, the more often we taste and eat something, the more we lose that special taste. So that's why I keep my distance from enjoying certain foods, especially sweet foods that have certain health risks.

On our special Muslim holiday, Eid al-Fitr, my husband invited me to eat my favorite donuts at the J.C.O outlet in the center of the city where we live.

Want to know what he whispered to me and made me smile? He said: "something sweet will make your world more beautiful. like you to me"

Suddenly I laughed 😂 I think my husband has been infected by my poetic way of thinking. Well, of course I also enjoy hearing about that.

Back to the topic. There is a large selection of donuts in the display case. I stood there long enough to make a choice.

Initially I chose the matcha and tiramisu flavor. That was all that was on my mind at the time and they looked delicious. Then, something unexpected happened....

While I was waiting for the cashier to complete my transaction and put my ordered donuts into the packaging box, I looked again at the donut display case. Oops I made a big mistake 🤣

After I ordered and paid for the donuts I wanted, I shouldn't have stepped towards the window again. It actually makes me want something more.

That's right. I saw donuts with new variants! A new taste with a donut appearance I've never seen before. Guess what? The ingredients of this flavor are my favorite. The clue is coconut and pandan leaves. ❤️😍😍😍

Donuts flavored with a combination of coconut and pandan leaves. Also topped with srikaya cream (traditional jam made from milk, egg, and sugar). As a touch of magic, sprinkle with dried coconut flakes. Gives me cravings!

I didn't hold back. I ordered the new flavor variant. At least I didn't eat it all. Just choose the one I want most. I will share the rest with my husband. Ehehe. He deserves to eat a lot because he works hard and needs it lol.

Oh, sooo good! I love this new donut flavor! Coconut, pandan, and traditional jam. What a perfect craving combination.

Then, what about drinks? Well, I also tried the new menu from strawberry ingredients.

A combination of strawberries, milk and yougurt. The drink tastes slightly sour which is refreshing. Also, it is balanced by the sweetness of the cream.

I am very happy for my and my husband's style celebration. This is also a way for us to take a break from the hustle and bustle of family gatherings which are very tiring and I just need a space for me to take a breath.
