The Power Of Working In Silence
.
Focus, one word that sounds simple but is difficult for us to do in every interest in our lives. Do you agree with that?
Well, what does focus have to do with this coffee topic? I'm interested in "THE COFFEE SHOP PROMPT" this week. "One reason that we fall in love with coffee shops is the community. Do you have a coffee shop where everyone knows you, you're friends with the barista, etc? Or do you prefer your coffee in silence and anonymity? Real coffee shop photos and real-life stories."
I do like good communities in various coffee shops. It's just that I prefer not to be recognized, and focus on my own business. I'm not selfish or arrogant. I just want to save my energy to do the things I have to do. As someone who still and will continue to have many amazing dreams, I don't want to waste my time and energy just to get involved in unimportant chats in coffee shops.
It doesn't mean that all communities are the same. There are some that are different. But back to the culture in Indonesia that really likes to take care of other people's business and talk about other people's bad points. Most communities in Indonesia only care about popularity, not the quality of skills that must always be improved in each individual.
The portrait of the dark nuances in the coffee shop design that I shared this time also seems to represent the discussion this time about focus. There is an impact that we must feel when we try to stay focused.
Dark, quiet, silent. That's why not everyone has a winner's mentality who can focus until the end of the goal line. Many people just want to achieve what they want, but fail to focus when working on those goals.
People often get carried away. That's what makes us fail. Lulled by the light, the crowd, the warmth. It becomes difficult for us to make new decisions and the worst thing is that we forget the main goal instead of just enjoying what has been presented to us with all the comforts available.
Wait, let me eat my snack first. Kebab. Hmm, this tastes good, but it lacks vegetable filling. Lol.
I like it when a barista at my regular coffee shop likes me. But sometimes it makes me lose my privacy. That's the habit of people in my area. Once they know us, they feel entitled to interfere in our affairs.
In fact, some people asked me about why I got married so late, or haven't had children yet. It sounds rude, but in Indonesia, you will always find questions like that once you get close to someone even in a coffee shop.
So, that's why I prefer to be alone, even though I'm not recognized. It's not a problem at all, because I'm the one who pays for my coffee, not them.
Trust me, there are times when it's more fun to be considered nobody, even if it sounds like no one cares about us. But that will actually make us focus on what we're aiming for, and we don't mortgage our mental health.
As we know, how many famous people, and artists, have finally decided to commit suicide? Mental stress comes from many things, especially because of the destruction of the comfort of privacy to be yourself.
So, while you have the opportunity to be quiet, do it. Never tell anyone about your brilliant ideas or business ideas or people will only bring you down, because they don't want you to succeed, or alternatively, they will steal your idea. Sounds bad, right? Indeed, this world is very bad if we don't handle ourselves to focus on what we want, not focus on proving to certain people.
The more you focus on proving that you are great to others, that's where you actually start to lose your true identity because you no longer hear what you want. You actually hear what they want.
So, enjoy your coffee, and your own palace. :)

Wow. Your coffeeshop is beautiful. I love that picture, in particular. Ever tried to sneak that off the wall and back home? I would :D And I totally get what you're saying about not wanting to be recognized and focus on your own thing. That's perfectly legitimate, and good on you for recognizing when you need time and energy for yourself. Some people give and give until they're burned out and can't get anything done, so...
Wonderful TCSP response! So nice to see you <3
yeah, many cases happened, we are getting stressed because too much giving attention to others. So we should give ourselves attention not others ehehe
☕️☕️☕️
Thank you for the support!
Have a delicious cup of coffee ☕️
Very good ideas that you express in the post, we really have very similar thoughts. The truth is that most people don't care what happens to us, but they do get jealous when we succeed. I agree with what you say about never telling others about our plans, It is better to build in silence than to make a fuss over ruins.
May there never be a lack of a cup of coffee in your home, as it is the best companion we have.☕
Thanks for sharing your coffee experience.
Happy day!
When our lives are good, people don't care and just become jealous and create bad vibes to make us down, so better to keep everything silent 😊
Depending on the type of activity I'm doing, I don't mind noise (in general), but with specific activities (like reading and writing), I always prefer quiet environments.
great! 😊

I agree with you, a coffee in silence is better.
I support your idea of not telling anyone about our projects until they are completed. Many people have bad vibes and want the opposite.
I loved reading you 🤗🥰
yeah, keep important thing for us and enjoy our lives 😊
Thank you 🌸
It's the best thing we can give ourselves, it's time with ourselves 😁
the same. I prefer silence wherever I go. It's not that I don't like socializing; I just don't want to waste my time on important topics. I rather spend time doing more valuable stuff...and I guess people in my country have the same habit of interfering with your personal time, whether you are in a public or private place. And if you don't respond to them, you will be the subject of gossiping, lol.
I haven't been to a cafe for quite a long time now since I came home. I missed the latte and the cafe ambiance.
It's easy to say focus, but yes, it's one of the hardest things to work on. Even the slightest destruction can destroy your focus. It's a matter of self-discipline as well.

I've often heard that there is power in silence, if you're an introvert. 😂
It is a wonderful reflection. I loved the self worth towards self and self confidence. You don't need someone else's recognition but your own. Plans are achieved for you, not for others.
