Amazing Breakfast From The 10th Floor The Sky Lounge

Remembering my most recent experience during a staycation at a hotel a few days ago. Indeed, vacation moments like that produce a lot of exciting experiences. I am grateful that nothing put me in a bad mood at all.

After some time ago, I shared about tea time, and also about the design of my very comfortable room at that hotel, so this time I will share with you my experience of having breakfast at that pleasant hotel. Stay tuned.

If I stay at a good hotel, of course, I always have good expectations about the breakfast because I usually choose a 4-star or 5-star hotel. If the hotel is other than that, I have no expectations whatsoever.

It is natural for us to create good expectations for breakfast at 4-star and 5-star hotels because the price we pay for the room is certainly different from the price of a room at a cheaper hotel.

My husband has a joke that I think is very funny but he is true. He said if a staycation is the time to improve nutrition. Lol. 🤣🤣🤣

I don't think it's entirely like that. Because my portion size is small. So, I won't be able to try many things served at the hotel. My stomach won't be able to accommodate all of that. But how lucky my husband is who can try various types of food provided at this place. So, we didn't lose out by paying for our staycation. 🤣

This morning I woke up excited. I looked out of the room window. It was still dark, so I prepared myself first to have breakfast at the restaurant.

Then, my husband and I took a short walk to see the city view from the hotel veranda which was close to our room. Then we headed to the restaurant.

In this hotel, there are two types of restaurants for us to have breakfast for free. Because my husband and I stayed in a Premiere-type room, so we were provided with breakfast on the 10th floor.

My husband and I didn't need to take the elevator anymore because the location of the room and the restaurant were close together. The restaurant is called The Sky Lounge. Maybe because visitors can see the height of the sky from this lounge.

The Sky Lounge which is located on the 10th floor offers a variety of foods, ranging from Indonesian Food, Western Food, also Chinese Food.

I only had time to capture some of the food quickly before other people came to have breakfast at this lounge.

For breakfast, there is a choice of rice, potatoes, or pasta, as well as other traditional Indonesian foods. Don't be surprised if the breakfast menu sounds heavy. Indeed, Indonesians are used to eating heavy foods for breakfast. But you don't need to worry because here they also offer lighter foods for breakfast. For example, bread or cereal and others.

You can also ask for a special omelet that can be made directly by the chef who is ready at this restaurant.

I also asked for two portions of omelets for me and my husband. Then, I sat at my table. Because it wasn't crowded, so I had many choices of which area I wanted to sit in.

Of course, I chose to sit at a table with an amazing view. I could see many cool things in this restaurant. I feel so lucky, my husband chose this hotel for us to relax here.

For breakfast, I started with fresh fruits. I chose papaya and pineapple. Then with the juice, I chose red guava juice.

Next, I chose an omelet, with sausages, and creamy beef onion. Don't forget the vegetables too. I chose broccoli with cauliflowers. Wow, a really complete combination!

I can't cook all of this at my house. Of course with the limited-quality ingredients. I don't dare to cook special menus if I can't ensure the quality of good ingredients in the market. I don't want to take risks. So usually if I want to eat special menus I will eat them at a restaurant or cafe.

For the taste of all the side dishes here, they are all delicious! ❤️❤️❤️ It suits my tongue. I can't comment badly. Because indeed all of them are good.

The most important thing is their service is very good. The waiters and chefs here are very polite. They always politely ask for our needs and they are willing to take the foods that we want to add to our dining table.

Especially, also the service for the elderly they are happy and seem sincere in helping and accompanying the elderly walking around the restaurant.

Next time, I will think about coming to this place again because their service is that good.
