Reflections and anecdotes from life: even though distance separates us!
Many times we have had to live the moment of saying goodbye to a loved one who moves away from our presence and it is not precisely because he has died and is not in the same dimension as us, but rather he has simply embarked on a journey to another geographical location. This is how physical distance can separate people and although the bodies do not have that close contact, most people proclaim that this separation can never break the ties that unite hearts, feelings and lived moments.
Sometimes, we keep quiet about what we know will happen at the end of this situation, because even though distance brings back memories of the true value of the people in our lives, sooner or later that connection will disappear because EVERY HEAD IS A WORLD. While it is true that even though distance separates us! teaches us that love, friendship and affection do not depend 100% on physical closeness, but on the strength of feelings and the emotional connection we maintain, in most cases, in today's dynamic times, it tends to become intimidated and disappear.
On average, a single dandelion plant can produce 10 flower heads. Each flower head has 150-200 florets, and each floret produces 1 seed. That means a single plant can produce up to 2000 seeds!
Even if we are not close, distance becomes a challenge that strengthens bonds, because we learn to value shared moments more, to cultivate patience and to trust that what really matters is unbreakable, no matter how many kilometers separate us. Each little flower that falls will evoke a memory, I only hope that when the flower runs out of flowers, the distance that separates us has not won the battle that leads to oblivion.
