¡Hola amigos! Esto de tener un amor perruno es algo súper nuevo y fascinante para mí. Como les dije en post anteriores yo, aunque he vivido con perritos casi toda mi vida, nunca había sentido tantísima afinidad y amor por un animalito de estos como el que siento por Bruna. Ella llegó a cambiarme la vida.

Hello friends! Having a doggy love is something super new and fascinating for me. As I told you in a previous post, although I have lived with dogs almost all my life, I had never felt so much affinity and love for one of these animals as I feel for Bruna. She came to change my life.

Mi esposo siempre tuvo la ilusión de tener una mascota, ya que a diferencia de mí, él no había podido vivir esa experiencia anteriormente, por eso bruna es un sueño hecho realidad, además un regalo de Dios porque nació un 24 de diciembre, razón por la que su segundo nombre es Navidad.

My husband always had the illusion of having a pet, because unlike me, he had not been able to live that experience before, so Bruna is a dream come true, also a gift from God because she was born on December 24th, which is why her middle name is Christmas.

Ya cumplimos nuestro primer mes con ella en casa y ha sido toda una aventura maravillosa y llena de mucho amor perruno, pero también con una que otra travesura de por medio.

We have already completed our first month with her at home and it has been a wonderful adventure full of lots of doggy love, but also with some mischief in between.

Si de casualidad le echan un ojo a mi perfil, verán que hace poco estaba hablando de como estaba buscando salvar a mi planta del dinero, una Zamioculca que me regaló mi suegra y que estaba en proceso de sanación porque se me había enfermado. Pues amigos, ella ha sido la primera víctima de las travesuras de nuestra pequeña cachorrita 🤦

If you happen to keep an eye on my profile, you will see that I was recently talking about how I was looking to save my money plant, a Zamioculca that my mother-in-law gave me and that was in the process of healing because she had gotten sick. Well friends, she has been the first victim of our little puppy's antics 🤦.

Hace unos días, como todos los días, nos tocó salir a trabajar en la mañana y dejamos a bruna sola en casa como desde que llegó ha sucedido. Ella siempre se porta bastante bien y cuando volvemos todo está en orden. Sin embargo, el jueves pasado no sucedió igual 🙈, cuando volví del trabajo me conseguí con la escena del crimen fresquísima.

A few days ago, like every day, we had to leave for work in the morning and we left Bruna alone at home as it has happened since she arrived. She is always pretty well behaved and when we come back everything is in order. However, last Thursday it was not the same 🙈 when I came back from work I found the scene of the crime very fresh.

Bruna había destrozado nuestra planta del dinero y había hecho todo un reguero con ella, por supuesto la regañé y me dio mucha tristeza porque ya mi plata estaba volviendo a ser fuerte y grande como en un principio.

Bruna had destroyed our money plant and had made a whole mess of it, of course I scolded her and was very sad because my silver was getting back to being strong and big as it was in the beginning.

Todavía con la esperanza de que no todo estuviera perdido replanté los palitos para ver si volvía a retoñar, pero en la tarde Bruna acabo con todo y ahora si es verdad que no había más nada que hacer.

Still hoping that all was not lost, I replanted the sticks to see if it would sprout again, but in the afternoon Bruna finished with everything and now it is true that there was nothing more to do.

Se le reprendió como el entrenador canino nos ha enseñado y desde entonces no ha vuelto a tener otra travesura de ese estilo, pero es que tampoco ha tenido más víctimas cerca de ella, jaja.

She was reprimanded as the canine trainer has taught us and hasn't had another such mischief since, but then again, she hasn't had any more victims near her either, haha.

Desafortunadamente, la planta pasó a otra vida y Bruna sigue jugueteando por todos lados y aprendiendo que ese tipo de cosas no las debe hacer. Pero aja es una bebe y es entendible que paso a paso va a ir madurando esos comportamientos, con mucha paciencia y amor nosotros seguimos educándola y amándola como ella nos ama a nosotros.

Unfortunately, the plant moved on to another life and Bruna is still playing all over the place and learning that she shouldn't do that kind of things. But aja is a baby and it is understandable that step by step she will mature those behaviors, with a lot of patience and love we continue educating her and loving her as she loves us.

A veces la llevamos a casa de mi mamá donde está su mamá Fifí y su hermanita Belén y ella es super feliz cuando llega allí porque sabe que le espera un rato de mucho juego y distracción con ellas.

Sometimes we take her to my mom's house where her mom Fifi and her little sister Belen are and she is super happy when she gets there because she knows that she will have a lot of play and distraction time with them.

La dejamos allí cuando vamos a pasar largas jornadas fuera de casa para que no esté tan sola y luego la buscamos para que duerma con nosotros. Nos enamoramos tanto de ella, que le permitimos pasar la noche en nuestra cama, ya que es muy aseada y está bien cuidada. Además su tamaño no representa mayor incomodidad y a ella le encanta estar con nosotros tanto como a nosotros nos encanta estar con ella.

We leave her there when we go for long days away from home so that she is not so lonely and then we look for her to sleep with us. We fall in love with her so much that we allow her to spend the night in our bed, as she is very neat and well cared for. Plus her size is not a major inconvenience and she loves being with us as much as we love being with her.
