Hoy les estaré mostrando un nuevo proyecto, en este caso se trata de la transformación de una linda falda blanca para dama en un hermoso vestido de verano, con un top fruncido para mi hija. Para lograr un efecto fruncido, debo usar hilo estático que es perfecto para este tipo de trabajo, pido disculpas por no tener este hilo a mano, pero usaré elástico fino. He estado sacando algunas prendas de mi armario para renovar y dentro de esas prendas he elegido esta preciosa falda blanca, que ya no uso. Soy de esas personas a las que no les gusta tirar esa ropa que ya no usamos, pero me gusta renovarla y convertirla en otra más agradable que podamos darle un uso. Esta falda tiene un diseño tipo indu, es muy larga y ancha, la cual quiero mantener en esta transformación y hacer dicho vestido. Me encanta mucho hacer este tipo de ropa de verano, debido a las altas temperaturas, me gusta que mi hija use vestidos pero que sean fresquitos como este que voy a hacer. To achieve a foiled effect I must use static thread which is perfect for this type of work, I apologize for not having this thread on hand but I will use thin elastic. I have been making some garments from my closet to renew and within those garments I have chosen this beautiful white skirt, which I no longer wear. I am one of those people who does not like to throw away those clothes that we no longer use, but I like to renew them and turn them into something more pleasant that we can put to use. This skirt has an indu type design, it is very long and wide, which I want to keep in this transformation, and make said dress. I really love making this type of summer clothes, due to the high temperatures, I like my daughter to wear dresses but that they are cool like this one that I am going to make. Para comenzar necesitaremos algunos materiales muy sencillos como:

• Tijera.
• Hilo y aguja.
• Elástico muy fino o hilo elástico.

Friends to start the transformation of this skirt, the first thing I did was take this skirt and cut the top part, which is where the rubber goes. I remove this part and keep it because I am going to use it as braces.

This is how the upper part of the skirt has turned out, once I have finished trimming.

As you can see here I show you what the upper part of the skirt was, which I will use as the straps of the dress.

Once I have finished sewing, I proceed to introduce the elastic and in this way I achieved a gathered effect. With the elastic thread it is super easy and it will be more furrowed, it is unfortunate that I did not have it at hand.

I also placed elastic a little lower than the first one I placed earlier. Sew right where the seam and skirt lace ends.

I placed and sewed the straps to the top of the dress.
