Historical POB posts/comments data

Hello everyone ,
I am here with another data post . This is regarding POB posts and comments [ Historical ].

One of the most important things for any blogging platform is traffic . Now obviously I can't read the traffic data from Hive blockchain but the next best thing I can do is to see the number of posts/comments on each tribe .

We can all agree that POB is one of the most popular tribes on Hive. It had a huge hype especially when it was released .

Now let us not waste time and jump right into the data -

Posts and Comments on POB till date .

From the launch of POB till today , the number of posts and comments combined stands at 1353132.

Here we can see that 35% of the total is Posts and 65% is Comments which roughly translates to 1:2 ratio which means for every post there are two comments on an average which may seem not bad but if you ask me it is bad , this actually means most of the posts doesn't have conversation about the topic posted .

Authors posting on POB

@barski is leading in posting followed by @readthisplease and @harpreetjanda .

Please note that these posts need not be made from POB front-end itself , this just shows if their posts is being displayed on POB that's it [ just by using #proofofbrain ]

Authors commenting the most on POB

Well many bots here obviously . @hivebuzz leading but if you take real user then @tengolodo leads this list .

Apps through which posts and comments are being posted from.

This actually tells us if POB front-end is the preferred one for POB posts or not . Let us check it out -

Unfortunately the answer is NO.

Ecency is the most popular front-end for POB posts and comments and it leads by a large margin .
Next comes PeakD . Atleast we have to be happy that POB front-end is in TOP 3 .

Well 55% of all posts and comments on POB is coming from Ecency .

Only 1 in 10 posts+comments is actually being generated on POB front-end which is not that great ratio if you ask me .

Posts vs Comments Front-end share

When it comes to Posts source it is even worse . Only 1.35% of posts on POB are actually from POB front-end .
PeakD leads this list followed by Ecency .
If we talk about comments , POB does have good share in this with 8% but Ecency takes a lion share in this with whopping 47% . Meaning every 1 out of 2 comments on POB is made from Ecency .
