Y es que para este fin de semana teníamos planeadas varias cosas entre ellas ir a un museo al cual nunca habíamos ido y queríamos ver que había. Bueno pues nuestra aventura comienza saliendo del metro cuando al bonito @fclore22 le dio mucha hambre y decidió comprarse un sándwich de un oxxo que es una tienda de conveniencia muy popular aquí en México. Aquí lo podemos ver comiendo todo bonito.
Hello friends, I hope you are well. Today we want to show you the nice outing we had last weekend where we went to do interesting things around the city. For this weekend we had several things planned including going to a museum that we had never been to before and we wanted to see what was there. Well, our adventure started when we got out of the subway when the beautiful @fclore22 got really hungry and decided to buy a sandwich from an oxxo which is a very popular convenience store here in Mexico. Here we can see him eating, so cute.
Después de eso caminamos rumbo al museo del Chopo. Algo curioso que nos pasó en el trayecto es que unas mujeres nos preguntaron si íbamos para allá para que nos siguieran, nos sacó de onda pero igual llegamos y para nuestra sorpresa nos dijeron que estaba cerrado. Debido a la pandemia y a la poca afluencia de personas decidieron cerrarlo para hacerles algunas remodelaciones.
After that we walked to the Chopo museum. Something funny that happened to us on the way there was that some women asked us if we were going there so they could follow us, it got on our nerves but we got there anyway and to our surprise they told us that it was closed. Due to the pandemic and the low influx of people they decided to close it for some remodeling.
A pesar de eso nos dijeron que podíamos pasar al jardín donde se estaba exhibiendo una obra que era como una jaula gigante donde podías sentarte y disfrutar del jardín. Y aunque el clima era agradable salimos un poco decepcionados del lugar y estuvimos viendo a donde ir. Al final decidimos ir a un Wal-Mart a conseguir el regalo para la fiesta de XV de una prima de @panconcajeta que será de temática de Harry Potter, esperen pronto el blog de esa fiesta.
Buscamos por toda la tienda hasta que encontramos el estante donde estaban las cosas y como no habían muchas pues se acabaron rápido elegimos una taza que cambia de color. Aquí podemos ver a @panconcajeta de incognito con la bonita taza elegimos como regalo.
In spite of that we were told that we could go to the garden where they were exhibiting a work that was like a giant cage where you could sit and enjoy the garden. Después de eso nos encaminamos al otro plan que teníamos en mente que era ir a una exposición en avenida Reforma que @panconcajeta sugirió hace tiempo, pues había visto en las noticias que instalaron muchas esculturas de vacas decoradas por diversos artistas y se veía muy interesante.
Llegamos y nos recibieron varias esculturas muy geniales que les quiero mostrar a continuación.
After that we headed to the other plan we had in mind which was to go to an exhibition on Reforma avenue that @panconcajeta suggested some time ago, as I had seen in the news that they installed many sculptures of cows decorated by various artists and it looked very interesting.
We arrived and were greeted by several very cool sculptures that I want to show you below.
En el camino @panconcajeta vio un puesto de gorditas (que son unos panes de masa de nata) y las vendían rellenas y no dudó en comprar una adivinen de que, exacto ¡rellena de cajeta! y aquí podemos verlo disfrutándolo.

Seguimos con el recorrido y tomamos muchas más fotos de las esculturas. Entre ellas una vaca celebrando la diversidad LGBTQ+ y una vaca normal que por el otro lado se le veían los músculos y huesos.
We continued our tour and took many more pictures of the sculptures. Among them a cow celebrating LGBTQ+ diversity and a normal cow with muscles and bones showing on the other side.
Terminamos exhaustxs del recorrido y decidimos ir a comprar un café ya que hacía mucho frío y el cielo estaba muy nublado y luego ir comer algo cerca, y después de hablarlo nos fuimos a comer en un sukiya. Esta vez no elegimos ramen, preferimos platillos con arroz y carne y nos llenamos bastante.
We finished exhausted from the tour and decided to go buy a coffee since it was very cold and the sky was very cloudy and then go eat something nearby, and after talking it over we went to eat in a sukiya. This time we didn't choose ramen, we preferred dishes with rice and meat and we got quite full.
Terminando de comer nos encaminamos a casa después de un largo día y en el metro nos encontramos con esta exposición de alebrijes muy bonitos.
After lunch we headed home after a long day and in the subway we came across this exhibition of beautiful alebrijes.
