This is Rosy.

She is Hale and hearty even in captivity.

Born free, was caught by some animal traders for trade, while she was pretty young, but eventually rescued by the Rescue Team and then brought to the Zoo.

She has many friends here but she loves to live on her own.

Plays and Eats fresh grass and loads of fresh fruits and vegetables added to her diet, daily.

While she was about to have her food, I captured some of her moments as various pictures.

While bringing some more grass to add to her existing food.

Using her trunk, she enjoys green grass and various fruits and vegetables.

While we were standing there, she kept on munching her fruits and vegetables, slowly and steadily, perhaps thoroughly enjoying her food.

It is so amazing to see such a huge animal behaving so calmly and peacefully being in the captivity following human instructions with all her dedication and sincerity.

I understand from the various articles that elephants are known for their wisdom and sharp memory.

They have deep power to identify and recognise people throughout their age.

They are also very emotional creatures love being with their own herd of elephants, protecting sharing and caring for each other while they are living in the wild, or Jungles and forests.

Here Rosy is in captivity, but the zoo keepers keep her happy and in the playful mood most of the time.

Rosy loves to have shower and mud baths pretty often.

Hope you liked the pictures.

Thank you.
