Another narration says that he slept in the streets and was peed on by cats and dogs until he lost his memory. A third story tells that he got married ten times, he bore one hundred and ninety sons, and he sent postal cards to his mother, with no words.
Only a sea stretching before the sand in a long sleep. They found the cards after her death - his name is not written on them to be safe - but they guessed it was from him.
Now that I am in a city far away by the sea and alone, and I cannot, like him, return, I think that if I crossed the waves behind him, perhaps I would find relatives there, perhaps a school in the name of my family, cafes, factories, and people who would receive me in a solemn ceremony and greet me in the street: - We were waiting for you.
