They all see who they wanna see,
But you can't lie to yourself,
Who truly are you?

The eyes that look so mean and fierce out there,
Had cried a million tears,
They all judge you from their perspective,
What can you say about yourself?

Looking at the mirror what do you see?
The scars behind the man who looks strong out there,
A broken heart waiting to be healed.
A man too tired but holding on.

Wanting to please others but cheating himself,
Are you satisfied with the man you are when you look in the mirror?

Everybody expects so much from you,
This wants you to live your life this way,
That wants this kind of life for you.
What kind of life do you want for yourself?

Everyone else leaves when the going gets tough,
But the man in the mirror staring at you,
Sticks right to the very end.

If staring at your reflection scares the shits out of you,
Then you need to face the real you,
And do you.
For if, you've ever desired a change in your life,
It should begin with the man you see in the mirror.

Face your fears,
Face the crowd,
And go to work.

That presence from another side is the only one we can not fool. Our most intimate secrets, sufferings, joys..., he also knows them as we do and takes over our conscience, Many times for the better and others not so much.
