A joyous holiday. (#97 The inkwell prompt)
If there's anything she could ask for, it is to enjoy the luxuries of life.
Bambi was a village girl who never enjoyed the luxuries of life, All her life, She has lived in the village with her grandma, she is very obedient and industrious, and she led a simple life.
Soon enough, her friends in the village started to relocate to the city on a quest for greener pastures. Her friends who were quite fortunate would always tell her how life is in the city and she never stopped dreaming of living in the city and enjoying the luxuries of life.
"Hello, Bambi how are you? The city is quite big and beautiful I wish you could come to see for yourself", Debra told her on the phone.
Immediately after the call ended, she decided to call her uncle who lived in the city.
" Hello Uncle, I have a wish, if there's anything I wish for, it is to visit the city, and see how beautiful and big the city is, even if I'll have to come back to the village."
Her uncle chuckled, "Well Bambi I was about to ask you to make a wish for the holiday, there you go, I'll be coming to the village in a fortnight, get your things prepared as you and grandma will be spending the holiday in the city with my family.
It's a time to be jolly, so why not, your wish has been granted" Uncle Jim replied.
Her heart leaped for joy, as she will be experiencing city life firsthand.
She quickly ran to her grandma to inform her of the plans.
Bambi started to arrange her things as she couldn't wait for the said day to arrive.
She kept checking the calendar and yes, the day finally arrived.
Her uncle was in the village to take them to the city.
But this time he had a bigger surprise for her.
He had booked tickets with Dana Airlines, and Bambi would be flying by air to the city.
How excited she was, she never thought of flying to the city as most of her friends went by road to the city, but now she was going to be the first among her peers to travel by Air to the city.
She would have enough to talk about too.
Not only was her wish granted, but it was also granted on a grander scale.
After the holiday was over, her uncle didn't want her to be back in the village as her character was exemplary, so he made sure she and her grandma stayed in the city permanently, and her dreams of enjoying the luxuries of life became a reality.

I wish it was that easy to stay in big cities 😔 You wrote a nice story, but I wondered what she does in the city, what she eats, what she drinks, where she works, does she study, what the city is like, what she does, etc. Many questions arose in my head ahahaha congratulations, I not only read it, but also dreamed and thought about it 😁😁 Very successful 👏👏

I am living in a big city now, despite its convenience, things are hard to get through because of high price, traffic noise and crowds. However, I can't deny that living here is so far better than I used to do in the countryside. But I think Bambi will soon realize that big city would bring her joyful yet stressful lessons 🌼
