Vibes web3 music competition week -Fire on the mountain

Hello everyone, it's vibes web3 music compeition week 2. Week one was amazing and I had fun listening to Hiveans as they sang to their heart content. I want to also say a very big thank you to @lordbutterfly for putting up a competition of such magnitude together.

For my entry for week 2, I did a cover of Fire On The Mountain by Asa.

I chose this song because it describes the current situation of the world. Just like the song says, there is fire on the mountain and nobody seems to be on the run. This simply mirrors the current state of the world today.

The crime rate in our society keeps increasing, crime has literally become the norm,as a lot of people do not have a living conscience anymore.

Today, people steal, kill, cheat and lie over and again and a lot of people see nothing wrong with it. Corruption, Fraud, Bribery have all become part of the system. People see these things and all they do is turn a blind eye. People either keep mute because they are scared to say something or they benefit from these criminal acts.

This song also talks about how people fight without even knowing what they are fighting for. They just do what ever their godfathers tell them to do without thinking of the consequences of their actions. They just enjoy the state of war and chaos. They use weapons to cause destruction, take lives, vandalise and even disrupt processes without feeling any form of remorse or guilt.

At the end of the day, when all these problem get out of hand, we start crying out for help which doesn't ever come. We wait for situations to escalate before we try to curb it, which is impossible. We then get stuck in this problem wishing we had controlled it when it all started, but then it's too late. We sit and regret our actions hoping for a miracle.

Regardless of everything happening we will continue to strive to make the world a better place. Praying and hoping it all gets better. Our faith burns bright like little candles which doesn't shine so well but as a group, they fill a room with so much light and radiance.

This song doesn't just highlight the attrocities happening in the world but also preaches love and making the world a better place.
