[PH] Daily Blog: Attending Orientation For Mall Identification
A pleasant day to the members of the Hive community.
With your encouraging stories and feedback in my last blog, it inspired me to share another experience of my life today.
My rest day from work is plotted again in Tuesday to focus on the orientation of employees of different tenants of the mall where I work that I wasn't able to attend the last time because I woke up late. This time, I woke up early because it will start in seven in the morning.
I made a simple breakfast which consists of some biscuits and coffee. Lately, I've been trying to consume coffee with less sugar to improve some of my eating habits. I'm loving the natural taste of coffee and hoping to taste the other kinds of it to know some of the ones I like the most.
Once done with breakfast and double checking the things I needed, I decided to book a ride so that I can arrive early in the orientation even if it is a rush hour because the estimated travel time when I choose to commute is between 45 minutes to 1 hour but when choosing some ride hailing apps, it will take me 30 mins or less, and I can do some things in the remaining time before the orientation starts.
The orientation exactly started at 7 with the head of security as the presenter. He discussed the security safety measures done by the security team hired by the mall, the mall operations, preventive measures for criminal acts, fire safety procedures, and the different violations to avoid by the employees and tenants to secure the ordinance of the mall. After the orientation, the attendees signed the attendance sheet as a temporary proof for entry to the mall, and a form to be fill up and to be signed to the supervisor, and submit to the admin office.
After all the task needed for the orientation, I asked my colleague to take a photo of me as a proof that I attended the orientation. It was 30 degrees outside and my eyes is kind of sensitive to the light at that time.
Before I settle to go home, I went to the nearest fast food restaurant to have an early lunch so that once I got home, I will just change my clothes and continue my sleep. I ordered a breakfast meal which consists of spicy chicken, unsalted egg, and rice. I didn't expect it to be the best dish I've ever tried at the moment, but it was appetizing.
After staying for a few minutes in the restaurant, I decided to go home. I walked to the terminal and paid my fare for the ride. I was the first passenger of the jeepney. The conductor of the ride waited for a few minutes to have more passenger. Once the vehicles has enough passengers inside, the conductor tells the driver that he can start his route journey. My ride home went for about an hour because it is a rush hour in my area. There is only a two-way road and the alternative route for the other jeepney route is closed causing a heavy traffic. As I arrive to my designated stop, I decided to walk home. Once I got home, I changed my clothes and decided to take a nap for two hours so that I can have an energy to start my laundry and other chores in the house.
My Tuesday is very productive and I can say that I have a balanced life, doing the things that is in my list, having a free time, and connecting with my loved ones.

A really productive day indeed. So you attended the orientation without having breakfast? Hmmm.
