Larry Is Alive 17 July 2024: I Am Alive Challenge

avatar

Hello everyone and warm welcome to my Larry hunt for wednesday, the 17th day of July, 2024. With the conclusion of the Euros and the South American version of the competition, all eyes have now turned to the transfer market. How is your team faring in the transfer window? Well, for the Red Devils, Manchester United, have just signed Bologna and Netherlands striker Joshua Zirkzee in a deal worth £36.54m. More signings will also follow.

Larry then veers off to have a look at today in #history.

Larry begins his look at today in history from Spain. He finds out that on this day in 1936, a well-planned uprising by Nationalist rebels against the Republican government of Spain began, sparking a bloody civil war that lasted until 1939, when the Nationalists and Francisco Franco assumed power.

From Spain, Larry goes to the Ukraine. He finds out that on this day in 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 crashed in separatist-held territory in Ukraine, killing all 298 persons on board; a Dutch investigation later established that the plane was downed by a Russian-made surface-to-air missile.

From the Ukraine, Larry goes to the world of international organisations. He finds out that on this day in 1998, The United Nations completed the statute establishing the International Criminal Court, which began operations four years later.

From the world of international organisations, Larry goes to the world of air disasters. He finds out that on this day in 1996, TWA Flight 800 crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the shore of Long Island, killing all 230 persons on board; a US government investigation determined that a mixture of fuel and air ignited accidently within a fuel tank, although others claim the plane was shot down by a missile.

From the world of air disasters, Larry goes to the world of entertainment. He finds out that on this day in 1955, Disneyland, an amusement park featuring attractions based on the creations of Walt Disney and the Disney Company, opened this day in Anaheim, California, USA.

Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in #history from Germany. He finds out that on this day in 1954, Angela Merkel, a German politician who served as Chancellor of Germany from 2005 to 2021 was born in Hamburg, West Germany. Angela Merkel was the first woman to hold that office and the second longest-serving chancellor in German history.

Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.

Let's now move over to the hunt for Larry...

Larry the postman as usual went about his duties delivering mails and am sure you know you can also get paid for just finding him. On my path, I hunted and found Larry in two places, that is, at Listnerds, Leadsleap and CTPX!

Listnerd

With my hunt at Listnerds, I read over ten mails to complete the minimum requirements for the task. Here is my proof

Leadsleap

I did not hunt for Larry the postman here today. Thats a second time in a row. Break the cycke man! I'll do so hopefully tomorrow.

CTPX

I hunted Larry in CTPX by xploring the number of sites to qualify for the draws and complete the task.
Here is a proof of my xploration...

You too can also join us at CTPX with my referral link https://ctpx.io/?ref=alovely088 and win in the various hourly drawing.

That's all for now so keep hunting for Larry the Postman and am sure you will definitely get paid.
