Larry Is Alive 16 July 2024: I Am Alive Challenge

avatar

Hello everyone and warm welcome to my Larry hunt for tuesday, the 16th day of July, 2024. It is no longer news that Spain won the Euro 2024 by defeating the Three Lions of England by (2-1) to win their fourth European championship. The fallout of that England defeat is the resignation of their head coach Gareth Southgate. This comes after having managed a whooping 102 matches at the helm, stretching eight years. Gareth Southgate has thought it wise to quit as Three Lions boss after that defeat by Spain in Sunday's Euro 2024 final. Who will fill the void now created by his exit? Let's watch and see who comes next.

Larry then veers off to have a look at today in #history.

Larry begins his look at today in history from the events of WWII. He finds out that on this day in 1945, the United States detonated the first atomic bomb near Alamogordo, New Mexico, and the following month dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan, hastening World War II's end.

From the events of WWII, Larry goes to the USA. He finds out that on this day in 2004, Chicago formally opened the Millennium Park, which included fountains, eye-catching sculptures, and an outdoor performance venue designed by architect Frank Gehry.

From the USA, Larry goes to the world of Olympics. He finds out that on this day in 2001, Jacques Rogge of Belgium was chosen to succeed Juan António Samaranch as President of the International Olympic Committee.

From the world of Olympics, Larry goes to Iraq. He finds out that on this day in 1979, Saddam Hussein became President of Iraq, and his ruthless 24-year reign was marked by costly and fruitless wars with neighbouring countries, as well as atrocities against the Iraqi people.

From Iraq, Larry goes to the world of space exploration. He finds out that on this day in 1969, Apollo 11 launched from NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, and four days later, two of its astronauts, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, became the first humans to land on the Moon.

Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in #history from England. He finds out that on this day in 1377, Richard II was officially crowned King of England almost a month after his grandfather, Edward III, died.

Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.

Let's now move over to the hunt for Larry...

Larry the postman as usual went about his duties delivering mails and am sure you know you can also get paid for just finding him. On my path, I hunted and found Larry in two places, that is, at Listnerds and CTPX!

Listnerd

With my hunt at Listnerds, I read over ten mails to complete the minimum requirements for the task. Here is my proof

Leadsleap

For my hunt for Larry at Leadsleap, I did not hunt Larry the postman here today but I'll do so tomorrow, hopefully.

CTPX

I hunted Larry in CTPX by xploring the number of sites to qualify for the draws and complete the task.
Here is a proof of my xploration...

You too can also join us at CTPX with my referral link https://ctpx.io/?ref=alovely088 and win in the various hourly drawing.

That's all for now so keep hunting for Larry the Postman and am sure you will definitely get paid.
