Powering up more SPS

SPS (splintershards) is a governance coin of the splinterlands game. It is a coin in the game with some additional benefits however the growth potential is more than a regular coin. What I'm trying to say is that with the governance coin, we get some additional benefits where the holding will play an important role in the governance of the project. It means if there is something which is proposed by the team or the community then holders of SPS tokens will have the power to accept or reject it. The only requirement for them is to have those SPS as staked. It is obvious that a bigger stake means a bigger vote value and this is a kind of power that is given to the community.

I believe that SPS is highly undervalued and no doubt we are aware that things are not going well in the game as of now. Our investment can be at risk hence if the game improves then this investment is going to grow a lot but again there is always risk in crypto investment. The team is trying to make things better in all possible ways and I hope it happens because if it happens then the value of SPS is going to be significant. I am not sure what is going to happen but I still bet on sps. It's a game and maybe the asset value is low but still, it will be available and we as a player have the opportunity to play the battles and enjoy the gaming.

As part of my continuous growing strategy with sps holding I continue to add more sps to my balance. I keep on buying SPS tokens from the market and powering them up in my game account because there is no point in keeping those tokens in liquid form. The moment I power up it starts earning some APR which is 11.1% as of now. This is not bad I think because generally earning this much interest rate in traditional banking is not possible. Maybe there are a few instruments where we can earn more but still, I believe that keeping investment in Crypto at this rate is not bad because we also can get the asset appreciation if it happens. As we can see below this token has a market cap of $10 million and the volume in the last 24 hours is 16.1 K dollars.

If we look at the price for SPS then we can see that there is some value appreciation the in in-lane month. Maybe this grows even more if the market looks better but again we don't know how things are going to happen however I believe that in the next bull run cycle, the game will do great which will result in significant value for sps.

I bought some tokens from the market and powering up now. Its over 1000 tokens that I have added today to my holding and I am doing all this to grow my overall balance and reach my milestone of 200k sps as soon as possible.

Here is the updated balance and now I have 188k sps. I am about 12K SPS tokens away from my milestone of 200 K and hopefully, I should be able to achieve it in the next few weeks. In any case, I will be making it before the year's end but I hope if the situation remains the same in the market then probably I'll be meeting my goal earlier than planned. I'm growing my holding also because it is crucial in the game as having more tokens brings a better reward multiplier which means we can earn better rewards in the game.

Most of my SPS holding is purchased from the market and although the dollar value is less because of the market impact that's not a matter of concern. Once things start to recover in the market then probably this value will also improve over time. Now it will be important to grab this opportunity till the time it is available because I believe now looking at the markets, this will not stay for too long. Although there has always been some price appreciation in the last couple of weeks maybe we can see more happening in the next few weeks.
