Polygon (MATIC) Partners With Mastercard

Polygon is a ethereum compatible blockchain and this project has been doing well. It's token name is matic and it's price is grown even when the market is on bearish trend. The amount of development is high and because of this there are multiple partnerships done by the polygon project.

Recently mastercard has announced the partnership with polygon and this is bigger announced which has also resulted in the price increase for matic. Usually when the market is down then more adoption and partnership happens in the cryptocurrency market. It's like the year 2023 is starting with the same momentum and hope to see much more in the remaining months of the year.

By joining Polygon, Mastercard reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its presence in the Web3 segment. Previously, the team hosted the first Grammy event with Roblox in the purpose-made metaverse.

Matic is a coin that many people are investing in for the long term and this coin price did not drop much as compared to the overall. Even I have ongoing DCA to buy it daily. I expect that in the long run this can bring a better profitability. I also see that the polygon is adopting geen energy intiative as well as involvement in web 3. Both the components are good and hopefully it can bring more value to the token economy.

This partnership has been announced on the Twitter by mastercard and this is a global brand facilitating the payments. In fact this is a giant card issuing brand globally and it can bring more value to the cryptocurrency market.

Cryptocurrency is now used in some countries for the payment and with this it can get boost for more payment adoption. We see more regulation coming this year and because of such announcements and partnership this could be a game changer. Another rival visa is already part of cryptocurrency segment so both leading names are in cryptocurrency and exploring the possibilities. Hopefully we can see much more in the year ahead and I will be trying to see if I can get some more matic at low price and wait for the right opportunity to book some profit.
