GLX Staking APR is Over 200%.. Great Earning Opportunity

Genesis League is the brand new upcoming game by splinterlands and we can expect to have it live this year. The development is going and I can see timely updates from the team on the progress. I have been investing in SPS for a long time because this is the governance token of the card game. Similarly, GLX is the governance token for the genesis league sports game and it is a valuable token in the gaming ecosystem. The AirDrop for this governance coin has been started effective October month last year and this will be ongoing for the entire year.

Like SPS I have also been accumulating all GLX and staking to earn the nice reward. Often we can earn an apr of about 15 to 20% but here with GLX, the apr is more than 200% which is just amazing. This has been much more stable at this percentage it seems because I cannot see a higher fluctuation on the apr side. Earning an apar of 200% is something that makes a bigger difference and to be precise this percentage is 208%. Who doesn't want to call with the investment and I think with the splinterlands there are a bunch of opportunities available around and we need to pay attention to grab them.

My GLX holding

This is my current GLX holding and this is on auto so technically there is nothing much that I need to do. I have set up the staking for SPS and GLX both on auto and every day whatever balance is there in my wallet is deposited. This is good because this way I don't lose any staking reward by keeping the tokens idle. I have managed to make the holding more than 6k but that is not the end and I will be growing it even more.

Genesis League Sports is a blockchain-based, play2earn gaming platform and ecosystem specifically designed for sports games and NFTs.

GLX is listed in Hive-engine and the current price is almost the same as SPS. Its dropped a lot like SPS because of 2 reasons. First- People are booking profit as its free money for them and not everyone is focused on long-term goals. Second- There is no use-case for the token as of now and once we have it in place then I am sure we are going to see a major spike in the price.

Below is the snapshot of the APR calculator and you can see that as of now the APR is 208% which is just great. Since I have 6117 GLX in my wallet so I am earning approx 30 GLX and 1.09 GLGT in a day which combines the apr as 208%. Even GLGT is missing the use case as of now so let's wait to see when we are going to have more information about these tokens.

Long-Term Strategy

I follow the Long term strategy with GLX as well like SPS and will continue to accumulate as much as possible. I know that the current price is low but that is not my concern as I have no plan to sell and book profit and my only focus now is to build the holding. I am growing the SPS balance more so that I can earn more GLX proportionately and this will also help to increase other tokens. I expect that there will be many benefits in the future for GLX holders and I don't want to miss that opportunity. Even the GLX license is going to be a big thing in the future.
