Gladius Packs - Buying and Opening

I often talk about brawls in the splinterlands game. It is a fun and rewarding part of the game where we can earn a good reward in the form of SPS and merits through participation. SPS is something that everyone wants to have as much as possible and even I do. Also, merits are quite useful because using merit we can buy Gladius back in the game and open these packs to get some nice cards added to the account. These packs are also like other editions of packs in the game and we get 5 cards out of one pack.

Like many other versions of packs, we can also get legendary or gold foil cards coming out of Gladius packs. It is an exciting part of the game because we don't know what card we are going to get and sometimes the pack opening can be very rewarding if we receive legendary or any valuable card coming out of it. I have accumulated over 16K merits in my account hence I thought of using it all and by the maximum pack. I will be buying the pack and opening as well to see whatever cards I'm getting out of my purchase and in total I'll be getting 40 cards because I will be buying 8 Gladius packs. Earlier I was buying these packs once a month and this way I was able to accumulate more but now I don't wait much longer. I just try to buy whenever I see some balance lying in the wallet. I participate in every brawls season and I make sure that there is no miss from my side because I don't want to miss the reward I get with every passing season in the brawls.

Gladius Case Buying

Since I have 16K merits available hence I can utilise it to buy 8 packs as one pack cost is 2k mrits. As shown in the below snapshot I am a man available and well typically for the pay button then there is a pop-up where I need to confirm the transaction. After the confirmation, it hardly takes a couple of seconds to get it processed and I can see the balance of packs available in the account.

Now pack purchase is completed after I confirmed the transaction. The entire process is quite easy and we just need to enter the quantity according to the available merit balance and then confirm on the pop-up box and then you are done. Once you can see the packs available in your game account then you are ready to go ahead and open them hence I am gonna do the same and will check out what cards I have got out of the eight gladiate case packs.

Packs Opening

Now it's time for me to open the pack and see what cards I'm going to get of the packs. It is an exciting part of the game and it is exciting because it comes with certain surprises and we don't know what is coming out. Let's go ahead and check out the surprise element and I hope that there is some good outcome in the form of legendary or gold foil.

I have opened all the packs and now the surprise is out that I have not received any legendary or the gold file which means it's not a good day for me it seems. Its fine because sometimes it happens and I hope that next time when I open these bags then I can expect some better cards compared to this one. Although I have heard some rare cards and Captain Katie is a good one.

I'm happy with whatever is the outcome and will be levelling up these cards because I'm trying these days to level up most of the available cards on the maximum level, especially Gladius case cards. Last time I opened seven packs and got quite a good number of cards with higher value including legendary and Quora. Quora is one of the most powerful cards in the game from this Gladius edition.

Another season for the brawl is about to start and once that starts then I will be submitting my participation. Also, there are some upcoming changes in the game which are expected to happen on 26th February. This change looks exciting and I'll be trying to understand it more and how it will impact the overall gaming experience. I think the changes are good in the game but need to understand first about these changes and once these are live then we can see how things are made better for us.
