Gladius Case Packs- Bought and Opened

It's been more than a week since I purchased and opened Gladius Cases now I can see some merit balance lying in my account hence it is good to go for the packed buy. Earlier I used to buy once a month but NOW I think it's not worth waiting longer, so I prefer to buy quite frequently. All the cards I received through the pack are used to level up existing cards and Gladius cards are pretty good in the game. There are some changes announced for the Gladius card and the changes are going to be implemented from this month onwards. Anyway, there are many changes which are planned in the game and some of them are already implemented and more changes coming our way next month.

I hope that these changes are going to be good however some of the change I do not like but I'm still hopeful that the outcome should be good. Ultimately, we all want the game to succeed and do better in the upcoming market cycle. I expect that any change that the team is trying to implement in the game should be good for the community and it helps the existing player as well as the new player because this is what we need to see the game growing. Ultimately more users are needed in any project and specifically in the game the community size is important and I am hopeful that in the next bull run cycle, we are going to see a massive number of new players onboarding on Splinterlands.

Buying Gladius Case

As of now, I have more than 11K merits available in my account but since the cost of one pack is 2K Merits and with this, I'll be able to buy 5 packs with this balance. I just entered the quantity, and it is showing that I need to pay 10,000 merits to proceed with this transaction. The entire process is easy and it happens just with a few clicks.

The purchase is successful as you can see on the builder's snapshot, and it is for the five Gladius cases. I am still left with some merit balance, but it is not good enough for another pack however this balance will be utilised in the next purchase that I will be making once I accumulate a good number of merits.

Packs Opening

Now the next action is to open the packs to see what card I am going to get out of these gladius cases. I prefer opening all the packs in one go because opening one by one takes time and there is no participating more time on the simple task.

I did open all the packs and as you can see some cards snapped on below. Because I have purchased 5 packs hence, I got a total of 25 cards. Are you expecting some legendary or old file and it looks like today is not a good day for me in terms of those high-value cards as part of the pack opening but it's fine because it is random, and we can't get the best outcome every time. I've got multiple epic and rear cards along with common cards of course but no legendary and gold foil has been rewarded.

It happens when sometimes the outcome can be significant and sometimes it is not hence today is the day when it is not significant, but I would say it is good to have as many as are in the day because it helps to level up the existing cards. The brawl season is ongoing and will be ending in sometime today. I have already planned my battles for the season and am now waiting for the reward which should be distributed in the next few hours. I will continue to accumulate more merits and once I keep a good balance of merits in the account then I'll be buying more again to see if I can get the legendary or high-value cards through the pack opening.

I think it is good to play brawls in the game because it is fun and also rewarding. The reward is distributed in the form of SPS and merits. We know how important SPS is in the game and of course, now it is also equally important because it helps us buy more packs that we can use to level up the existing card. Having high-level Gladius cards means a better winning ratio because now we can use these cards in the game, and some allow additional cards to be picked at certain battles and this is why I find it more valuable the Gladius card in the deck.
