I always say that every season in the splinterlands game is different as we need to play battles with different rulesets and against different players. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose but ultimately we all try to increase the rating and level up the league. Its because we get better rewards in higher leagues however we also need a bigger sps stake to be eligible for a higher reward boost. SPS is the key in-game and even now when the price is also then also its utility is not less and I think it is a good time to bag some SPS.

Now talking about the current season where I play in a wild format, somewhere I feel that the team is trying to penalise the players in this format. Its because they have reduced the reward pool, added wild passes and also increased the SPS requirement for reward boost. If this is done to reduce the automated players then I think its already clear that wild is for all and modern is only for real players. Players have the option to choose the format they want to play in.

Even I think that automated players are needed in the game, and many times we win over bots so its not like we always lose but if someone doesn't want to play with bots then modern is the right place. I just hope that the game team considers this aspect and maybe they change something to offer almost equivalent experience to players in both formats. My reason for playing in the wild is my card collection and at this point, I am not ready to invest in new cards so no matter what happens I will continue playing in the wild.

This Season

This season will be ending in 9 days from now and there is so much time left to play and increase the rating and league. I have unlocked the Diamond 1 league already and trying to unlock the next one which will be the Champion League. First I am going to try for Champion 3 and once that happens then I will be trying for Champion 2 league. I am not sure if champion 1 would be possible for me and its really difficult. I can do that as well but I think that my current card collection is not good enough for that league and before trying for that I need some more powerful cards in my deck. Either I buy them or take on rental this is surely needed to achieve that league.

Did you check the DEC Price?

This time the price for DEC tokens is quite low and this is a stablecoin of the game. In an ideal scenario, the price for 1k Dec should be $1 but currently its highly discounted. The current price is $0.68 for 1k DEC which means its lower by 32% as of now and does not look like it will be recovering soon. There have been a few similar scenarios when the price was dropped but recovered also. I think that this can be a good time to buy some dec and once it recovers to its range then easily 30% or more can be earned but again its not a financial advice.

I am checking the SPS price closely but did not check for DEC however today I checked and I think that this can be a good opportunity. SPS is at a low price but DEC is different because it has recovered its peg value many times and it will do so once again however might take some time so investing with a long-term approach can be a good idea. I have not decided but will be planning to do some soon.
