Strolling along Bern

Bern's Old Town has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. It fascinates tourist as well as locals with its imposing sandstone buildings, fountains, statue and unmistakable charm.

I'm not very familiar with Bern, in fact, all I know about this city is that it's in Switzerland. So why should I go there next? What do you think is the best season to visit?
