A stroll along the old town
Lenzburg city with a lot of charm in December. Located just a short ride from Zurich. The old townis a pleasure to explore on foot because it is a small town. You will finde cobblestone streets, well preserved buildings and during this time Cristmas lights and decorations. First here the city tower with its iconic clock, the bell chimes create a nice ambience during the stroll.
Here the fountain Klausbrunnen is a figural fountain with about 17 meter deep shaft underground. Its exact origin is unknown, but it is one of the oldest in the city. Holding the Lenzburg city coat in hand.
A look into the good restaurant which is ready for lunch.
In the background the Lenzburg castle on a hill, dating back to the 11th century , one of the oldest castels in Switzerland.
Have a Great day!
