Rushing Through Cave To Escape Horde | Minnie Tries To Kill Her Own Brother ~ And Then Comes The Bite Of Death | The Ask Of Penance And The Path Of Exile ~ A New Tomorrow That Healed Clementine And Aj
Hello, gamers of Hive. I hope you all are doing well.
Today, I will share Clementine and Aj's troublesome growth amid territorial raiders and zombies in a forest far away from the cities, as Lee had wanted.
Without further ado, let's begin!
A huge explosion from the engine rocked everyone out of their consciousness just moments before Aj shot Lily after Clem asked Aj to shoot her and give her a chance to try and trick him. Aj got the opportunity to grab the gun when Lily and Clem were tussling on the railings of the ship. That brief moment of confusion helped James and Tenn get out of Gina's crosshairs after Tenn failed to convince Lily to give up his sisters' whereabouts. Clem only wanted to get to the deck to confront Lily and did not know Tenn and James were there. She got there after a short scuffle with Minnie after both Clem and Violet got out of their cells. Violet shoots her after Clem refused to shoot Minnie. Clem got the chance to open her cell after Lily and Minnie paid her a surprise visit and asked Clem to reconsider her options. Lily explained that her community was strong and had infrastructures that would last, they grew their own food and had livestock. Lily further explained that one of the two sisters Marlon had given away saw that the community was worth fighting for, and the other one caused trouble so the sister with the common sense shot her after her sister planned an escape. Clem could've gotten out of her cell sooner as Aj slid his small blade that was well concealed which the raiders did not spot and slid it over to her cell.
Aj narrates his story and all the events that led up to this moment.
Clem found Lily's dead body shifting away into the sea as the ship slowly fell apart. She heard Aj calling for help from the other side and carefully moved to the other side.
Clem safely makes it to the lifeboat and askes Aj to let go at her countdown. Aj slid down and Clem caught him.
The boat came loose and fell on the pier. That's where they met another lackey of Lily, angry at the developments that occurred at his ship. Clem grabbed the arrow stuck in the wood and stabbed it on his feet. Then, grabbed his bow and pushed him into the sea where a cluster of walkers were waiting for their next meal.
And, somehow Clema and Aj made it out of the sinking ship before it blew up in hundreds of pieces.
Clem found Louis and Violet safe on the shore and wondered about Minnie's safety as they considered it to be one of them. Shortly after, they found zombies surrounding them.
Clem spotted Willy and signaled. Aasim called for Willy and he understood that it was almost go time. Ruby and Willy secured the cart that the raiders had used to kidnap Aasim, Louis, and Omar. Clem spotted the raider trying to aim for Willy, and that's when Clem shot him in the neck.
Once that guy was down, Sullen got bitten by zombies leaving Minnie all alone in the circle of death. She did all she could to free Sullen, unsuccessfully. And, she also gets bitten ensuring her death soon.
Sadly, Clem and Aj could not reach the cart as Minnie threw a grenade at them but Clem shot her mid-throw which did attract all the nearby zombies to her but also scared the horses.

Tennesse called Aj from a safe distance and led them to James. James brought them to a cave which was the only safe spot. But, it was eerily dark and potentially unexplored.
And, in this creepy dungeon, CLem found a toy that Aj could play with once all this was over.
She went to Tenn and asked how he was holding up. He asked if Clem saw Minnie out there. I made Clem tell the truth, that she was bitten; he turned sad.
Clem found a stick and a dry cloth. She tied it up and lit it using a rock and her knife. Unfortunately, they didn't have the luxury of time to explore their options as to how they would cross the river as the zombies were starting to pour in.
Clem held behind while she made sure everyone crossed. She burned 2 zombies before crossing.
They made it into a cavern with multiple routes. They could not see which one had light in the end when suddenly James smacked Clem into the ground and grabbed Aj. His reasoning: he would not allow Clem to turn Aj into a monster. He threatened to break Clem's leg should she follow them. I made Clem say that he was fucking crazy.
Aj bit his arm and slashed it with a rock he picked up when James tried to grab him. James put his wounded palm and showed it to Clem and blamed her for it. He further added that he had seen such rage before and what happens when it remains unchecked. He also pointed out that she made Aj kill Lily with a full mag. Aj replied that it was half a mag and he liked doing it.
This makes Clem come to her senses and made James' point in reality.
His justification? Killing everything that wanted to harm them should be dead, that's why he liked it; it made him feel safe.
Clem went up to him and tried to enunciate the fact that killing was merely a necessity and not a thing to like about at all.
Aj did understand her angle but didn't fully grasp what Clem wanted to convey. James was frustrated and told that Clem and the rest of the world only wanted violence. If only she could live a normal life where she would not have to kill any walkers. Clem refused that argument saying it was fantastical. She would love to live in a world where she and Aj would not have to kill but that is simply not possible.
James backed off and Aj asked that Clem trust him more to make decisions. I made Clem trust his decisions.
Shortly after, walkers arrive at the entrance of the cavern. Somehow they crossed the river. James asked Clem and the others to run, he would take care of the walkers till they escape.
The game does not say if that is his end or not.
In the woods, they regrouped and found Violet behind one of the trees, she came back for them and refused to believe Clem had died. They went for a hug and tried to find their way back to the school.
On their way, they decide what name to call their school now that all enemies are dealt with. Clem suggested they name it Castle Violet, and it took some convincing for Violet to agree with it.
Fortunately, they reached the bridge. This was near their school and so they were in the right direction. All they needed to do was slowly cross it and they would be well within the confines of the safe zone.
The gang was in the middle of the bridge, all they needed to do was cross the gap in the bridge and right then... a sweet singing voice, an original song sung by the composer traveled toward them in an alarming tune. It approached them from the darkness of the forest. It was Minnie.
She was happy that she found her little brother after battling death at an impossible winning rate.
She suggested Tenn he be with her and she would take him where Mom, Dad, and Sophie were. Clem clarified the message and told him that she was going to kill Tenn!
Minnie shot at Clem but missed and asked her not to talk with her brother. She sent a bullet toward the top of the bridge and gained all the nearby walkers' attention stranded in the forest.
Violet suggested that she would help the boys cross the gap while Clem would have to fend off the walkers.
Violet got Aj across and went over to help Tenn when Minnie got on top of the truck and kicked Clem's bow away. She later discombobulated Violet and aimed her gun at Clem and fortunately, it ran out of bullets.
She took a second to reload and that's when Clem hurled toward her and grabbed her gun. She couldn't get a shot off as Minnie sat blood on Clem's face and axed Clem's leg, it opened up nastily.
And unfortunately, that series of missed shots made the walkers aware of Minnie not being one of them anymore. They all got a bite out of Minnie, so Tenn jumped toward her as he wanted to help his sister.
This time too, Tenn was causing a lot of trouble and would've cost VIolet's life just like he cost Mitch's life. That's what j thought to himself. To save Violet's life, he shot Tenn in the neck which was exactly what Minnie had wanted; to be with his brother and parents once again.
Violet crossed the bridge, disheartened and angry at Aj. They watched the walkers devour the tiny boy's flesh. Clem had the opportunity to defend Aj but I made her quiet since Violet was right in accusing Aj of the murder, he could've waited for Tenn to come to his senses instead of shooting him in the artery.
The 3 fast-walked toward the steel fence and Violet hopped to the other side and promised to catch her on her way down. She couldn't fulfill her promise due to the walkers who were waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. Clem asked Violet to run and vowed to meet her at the school and ran in the other direction with Aj.
They found an elevated road and knew that was the only escape. Clem hoisted up Aj first and then climbed up.
Sadly, she was grabbed by a walker and bitten... this was something I never expected would happen in the game since she was the protagonist for 2 seasons straight but ig the game devs love to kill their main characters.
Clem kicked off the walkers and made it atop.
She opened her wound on the elg and there it was, a fresh bite in her soft flesh. She knew what had to be done within a few hours. I asked myself if she could've reached out to her people in Richmond before storming to the raiders' ship.
They walked the path, through the forest riddled with zombies until they somehow reached the barn where James kept his precious walker collection. They darted for it as the walkers drew closer.
Clem was very weak at that point, she sat behind the barn door and asked Aj to use the large fork and jam the door shut.
Their moment of respite was short-lived as the zombies had broken through the woods that covered the barn. The only was to keep them out was to shit off the doors to the main hall.
Aj handed his gun to Clem and asked that she cover him while he would shut the doors. He shut all 4 doors but one in the corner was open. That's where 2 of them popped inside. Aj took care of them while Clem rested in the back.
Once all the zombies were shut out, it was time to address the elephant in the room. Clem's situation was worsening as her eyes turned into walker eyes, lifeless and without hope.
Aj pointed to the open shaft at the top of the barn. He asked that Clem at least try before giving up. Clem told him to not be upset, it was bound to happen someday or other. She asked that he grab the dead walker and use the gut on himself to camouflage and get away from there.
Aj began to sob slowly and asked that he also stay with Clem and be there forever, like that train station couple. Clem asked that he live, that he sleep in his room and grow big and have friends.
In the end, Clem asked for the same thing as Lee. A swift death where she would not have to turn into one of those things.
Clem remembered the time when he entered McCarol Ranch to get Aj. The place was already in flames by the time she was there with the remaining alive members in a state of frenzy shooting anything that moved.
This guy shot Clem's horse and did not answer where the little kids were kept. I had the chance to execute him but I decided to not do it, I let him turn into a zombie and allowed the slow death.
The next guy inside was the same... desperate to live and had no sense of direction; all he knew was that he must kill. Clem shot him in the gut and asked where the kids were kept and he directed her toward the nursery.
She found the woman who was responsible for all the children there... she was shot in the face as her dead eyes stared at the last known location of the culprit. Clem picked up her gun and the keys in her hand.
She opened up the top cabinet and found Aj, cowering in the dark. She calmed him down and brought him out and into a car.
This is where she surmised that she could not go back to Richmond, it was still unstable and there was much work to be done to restore order. So, the only option was to hit the open road and see where it would take them.
Alvin Junior was back at the school premises at their fishing point. He caught a fish and decided that it was enough and out his spear away.
After he came back, he spotted Clem's hat floating about the river. He tried to grab it twice but failed. Thankfully, Rosie caught it near the back and presented it to Aj and earned praise.
Aj heard a twig snap and instantly pointed his gun toward it only to find that it was his friend... an old friend that he killed long ago.
Aj had a choice, either kill him or distract him away. I made Aj pick up a rock and he threw it at a branch, which drove Tenn away.
Aj was back at the school where the lookout and other hunters were back from their daily hunting as a piece of soothing background music started to play.
All thanks to the person who built this school, shame it did not go according to his plan.
And then we get to the most shocking part of the game. I find that Clem was still alive and that would mean that Aj cut off Clem's leg with that axe. Somehow, that saved Clementine's life and there she was, alive and well. He showed her the cap she rescued from the river and told her that she would put it in her room.
Clem took Aj near the swing and asked him to hop on. She pushed him just like Lee did to her when she was small at the Dairy Farm in season 1.
At the dinner table. The kids laughed and ate in harmony while a pair of them were mischievous. Louis wrote something to Clem that she does not reveal even after eating was over.
After dinner, it was time for business. Clem asked that Violet check out an area and see if those people were ready to trade. Aj asked if Violet was still and at her for shooting Tenn. That's when Violet opened up about Tenn. He was a child who was always lost in some other world that was just not there, that act was in his way before Clem and Aj arrived and cost some people. That's why he wanted to protect him all the more and when she couldn't pull him away from Tenn, she knew Tenn was no longer there.
Clem brought Aj in the corner to talk about some stuff before heading to their room.
And this is where I stopped the game as it was wayyy too long of a content.
I will always be angry at that friend who spoiled the ending for me. He told me that Clem dies in the end, and now I see that she was well and kicking; a truly bittersweet moment for me. Yet, I am ecstatic to find Clem well and in crutches rather than in a zombie. But, I did see in a video somewhere how Aj finds Clem stuck in some metal fence just like she would've found Lee if she did not shoot him back in season 1. Maybe that was fake...? I'm very sure that the next episode wold be that end of this series and then I guess I will have to start with the DLC.
