Ludwig ~ The Accursed | Full Boss Fight | The Most Difficult Fight Yet | Bloodborne
Hey Gamers!
Below is the discussed version of the battle. The video is at the bottom of the post, enjoy!
So, I’ve been in many boss fight till now, the beast cleric being the one that I kicked off with. The Link to that post.
Then came the Padre, the keeper of the tomb of Oedon Chappel. The Father Gascoigne Fight.
Now, I was up against it’s commander(the cleric being a foot soldier). The student who went astray for using the Beast blood. Ludwig. I explained extensively in this post, about him and his associate Laurence, leaving their professor.
I spawned in the Cathedral area, the journey to Ludwig itself was a huge challenge. I had to juke every creature in the path, of course losing my health was an immediate course of action. There was no way I would’ve gotten out of that blood river unscathed.
But, as it turns out, it was only after the fight that I found that there was an area near Ludwig, beside the giant guards area where a lamp was present. That would’ve saved me a lot of time had I made a turn to the right. Tunnel vision had me good this time…
My weapon for this fight was a level 6 Tonitrus and a level 6 Saw Spear. I was a bit under levelled and had only 17 vials of blood.
Fast forward to the fight. The guy was a true, unsightly beast. Fought like a beast too, scratched, head butted, and jumped, and charged me all in the first phase of its attack. Personally, the first phase was the difficult part.
When half it’s health was down and out, this amazing animation starts. Ludwig’s holy blade starts to shine, his eyes filled with hope. He thought that the power of the holy blade had left him for good, but no.
He calls out to his true mentor, for being at his side, his guiding moon light, for one last time.
This scene in particular reminded me of the “Attack Titan” in “Attack On Titan” anime where we get to see Eren in his full glory, in his supersized Titan form. Only his head could be seen, and that head scene is what matched with this scene. “The fury in their eyes, the solemn determination to do the thing that they’ve put their minds to.” - Allama 🙂.
The second phase was a bit simpler, he just swung his sword, and released Arcane projectiles when far. A small area attack and a rage filled swing when damaged too much.
Thankfully, my Olek Hunter had the “Whirlygigsaw”. This weapon does a ton of damage, combine it with a fire modification and it becomes a deterrent for beasts and humans alike.
This weapon also does a lot of stagger effect, this scene here is that of a Staggered Ludwig, impaled by the Whirlygigsaw.
Yeah, my summoning finished off the boss fight after I reduced all of the health myself🙃.
The hard earned image that you love to see. It's a good thing that they don't change the amount of blood echo you get for not finishing off the boss yourself.
The bounty. A good addition, the “Guidance” rune and a 35k blood echo.
Enjoy the gameplay.
