From The Water To The Sea Of Zombies ~ Michonne Shall Set This Family Free For Norma's Clutches | The Big Hostage Exchange And The Quest For A Proper Burial

Today, I will share the final tale from the Walking about Michonne and Pete. Their great escapade comes to an end as the incoming threat looms over their heads now that they captured Randall.
Without further ado, let's begin!
Michonne snaps back from her flashback as she continues to talk with Paige about Samantha and her past. There Michonne learns that Sam's mother died a year ago around this time. Then, Sam's father, John asked her to step outside for a little chat. There he explained the troubles and sacrifices he made to shelter his children and asked if she had any children. Michonne replied that she had 2, and thus a mutual understanding was formed. John told how his wife got killed and was about to tell why he continues to live when he got shot in the face by Randall. His men entered the gates as John had left it open. One by one, Michonne and Pete took the men out until they caught Randall and mushed his hands in a compressor. He suffered mild torture while he continued to provoke everyone there. Norma called up Randall to check if everything was okay but they got busted as Michonne had asked him to respond and check in. That's when Norma knew where to look for her brother and Michonne. Later, I had the option to either end him then and there, I decided not to and kinda wanted to see Norma's reaction to seeing her brother alive and well.
Oak slid in by stating that he would jump after her if she decided to go overboard. Michonne asked why he would do that for her... he replied that she was of them now.
He offered a hot cup of coffee too and Michonne graciously accepted it. Only after drinking it, she found out that it was half whiskey and half coffee, not a good energy drink.
Oak later shared a sad story about his past, before Pete recruited him. He used to work in a canning factory, food wasn't an issue for them. One day, a young girl was taken hostage and was taken from their factory. He and 9 other men entered a warehouse after following her trail, only he came out alive. Michonne reassured him that he did the right thing, but he wasn't as ecstatic and said that it got his brother killed.
Oak pointed out that Berto was about to rack up a game of cards. Michonne took the nice invite and played with the rest of the crew. A pleasant memory she remembered.
Everyone entered the garage where Randall was held. Sam entered and kicked him like a karate kid kicking a dummy. He started to guilt trip Michonne by asking how many lives she had cost back at their floating city. I could've punched him but I told him that there were kids on the ferry, where he and his hunters killed mercilessly. Now, I feel like I should've just punched him.
The walkie-talkie came to life. Norma was asking for Michonne, again. I didn't answer her the first time. She broke the silence by having Oak speak from the other side, he told her that Berto and others were also there from their boat. This became a bad situation. Norma proposed a deal, a hostage exchange; her brother for the captured men.
The only problem with that deal was... Randal was roughed up badly. His face was covered in blood and bruises. Moreover, his hands weren't quite model. They all expected Norma's response when she saw Randall's condition.
Meanwhile, outside Sam was determined to provide a proper burial for her dead father. With one arm she pulled her father and tried to bring it closer to her mother's grave.
Michonne asked her to stop as she was clearly about to hurt herself by pulling the lifeless body by herself. I wanted to help her do it but the time ran out before I could decide what I should've done.
Sam gave up seeing that she was not bringing any real change decided to bring out the guns from a duffle bag and asked everyone to arm themselves, they were about to be in an unavoidable fight.
I truly feel sad for Samantha, at first it was her brother who died for nothing, and then her dad who also died for nothing. Next, I wish I had ended Randall, doing anything else was about to become a breeze as they could've simply said that Randall was kept inside the house, sleeping. That's when they could've made their escape. Sadly, they were about to go into another confrontation while there were kids involved this time.
