Hey guys, after a lot of idle days of monotonous work I finally got to continue my journey on GOW.

Today, I was suppose to try and takedown the Queen Valkyrie herself, but she had some different plans for me all together.

Let’s start today’s journey through Midgard from the beginning.

After defeating all the Valkyries, I reached the Roçstóll of The Valkyries. There, like Geirdriful had said, the Queen could only be summoned once the council was in session.

I went around the dome placing the helms of the Valkyries as per my liking. I wanted to place the two most difficult Valkyries I had to face on the front of the place. They were Geirdriful and Olrun.

Then, I browsed all the information on the Valkyries first. Mimir had very peculiar stories for us.

She told that the Geirdriful, my last Valkyrie. Apparently, she was the one responsible to train the task force assigned by Odin himself to defend from Ragnarok. These warriors were called einherjar. Until Ragnarok, they would train rigorously, and spend most of their time eating, drinking themselves silly, and fornicating.

Then, there’s Göndul, the most beautiful Valkyrie. Apparently, she was barred from entering Midgard by Odin himself because her beauty would cause quite a stir among the men at Midgard, so much so that they would be out of control.

Olrun had quite the story herself.

I remembered that I didn’t replenish my Resurrection stone so I had to go back to the Huldra shop and purchased the most expensive one. This one would restore my rage meter to full and a little HP. That way, I could work with the Spartan/Rage mode and gain HP from the stokes.

And none of the combo of Runic attacks worked. I literally most of the runic attack combo from every single angle.

The most badass entry was undoubtedly done by this Queen herself. She seems to be locked between the realm tear. So, when Kratos moves forward, she grabs his head and smashes it on the ground and gets ready for battle as Kratos also gets up after being taken by surprise, with a little stream of blood flowing from the back of his head,
From all the ass-kicking I noticed a few changes in the Queen’s move sets. She does 3-4 unblockable moves, she switches up her attacking pattern every damn time and I notice an attack coming after she is well within my melee range, and the most annoying thing was the camera movement.

This little thing could not keep up with the Valkyrie’s movement and so I had to manually manoeuvre it and escaped the unblockable attack with inches to spare. Needless to say, I died mostly to her common attacking moves because I was too eager to do some damage.

Today, the most amount of damage I did on her was reduce her HP bar by 3. And even so, THANK THE LORDS that this is no dark souls game. If that was the case, she would’ve somehow through some “blocked memory” awakening, she would’ve regained her entire HP bar. Thankfully, that was not the case, so far. I don’t know what happens after I reduce her HP by half.
