Iftar Picnic 🧺
Hey beautiful people , I hope you are reading this blog sitting in your comfort zone . As we all know it is a special month of Ramadan , during which every Muslim fast from dawn to dusk .
My friends and I faced a challenge, we were staying in a hostel, where balancing studies, sleep, and fasting was tough. But we didn’t let that stop us!
So, we came up with a brilliant idea💡: we decided to climb to the top of a nearby mountain and cook our own iftar. 🧺 🏔️. It was more like a picnic iftar .
Let me tell you everything from the beginning.
Fortunately or unfortunately, I was chosen as the chef for that iftar party😂
Now, here's the fun part: I had nothing new to wear, as usual! 😉
Can you believe it? But after rummaging through my wardrobe, I found a beautifully embroidered dress that I had never wore. It felt like fate, perfect for our picnic iftar adventure! We packed everything we needed , a stove, pots and pans, fruits, knives, and of course, all the ingredients for a delicious iftar. 👗
Then , we decided which place is good for iftar .
The view is astonishing , isn’t it ?
This stunning spot in our university seemed like it was plucked straight out of a paradise! It upraised our iftar experience to a whole new level and making it at least ten times more magnificent than anything we’ve ever experienced before!
Menu
Samosa
Fruit salad
Custard
Chicken rolls
And Jaleebi .
With the afternoon sun slowly setting, I started cooking for iftar. Earlier, I had prepared the fruit salad and samosa fillings, in my room, making sure everything was ready on time. As the odour of our cooking filled the air, we knew it was going to be a Unforgettable iftar on top of the world.
We cooked everything ourself except Jaleebi . Because it would have taken us a huge time so , we decided to go for market purchase.
I wanted to go for vanilla flavor of custard but we couldn’t find that . So we decided to go for mango flavor . To be honest , it was worth it . All of us Fasting , cold custard with fruit cake on it , beautiful seasonal weather and us . 😋
(
Lastly , The CHAI . TEA , LIFE , Entity or what we can say , heaven? 😁
For me , tea is like a life because no matter how bitter it gets, adding a little sugar always makes it better! ☕
