It was a cold, foggy night in the slums of London. The Victorian gentleman adjusted his cloak as the carriage pulled up next to the staggering young prostitute.
Despite her obvious drunkenness, her beauty captivated the gentleman from the first moment he saw her under the gaslight.
-Good evening, miss," he greeted her with a fake smile. -Would you like a walk with me this evening?
The girl blinked, confused by the ostentatious vehicle and the elegant gentleman. Before she could answer, he added,
-Of course, she will be very well rewarded for her company.
The gleam of the gold coins in the knight's gloved hand dispelled any doubts in the young woman's clouded mind. He nodded slowly and walked over to the carriage.
The knight gallantly helped her upstairs, hiding his sinister smile.
Tonight she would enjoy pleasures that the ladies of high society would never give her.
And when he was done with her, no one would miss a simple street harlot.
Once inside, the carriage started quickly, getting lost in the London fog.
The coachman would not see his master again until dawn, carrying a bloody bundle to dissolve in the dark depths of the Thames.
