The power of habits
Hi,
I'm on the road since Sunday, flying and driving around Europe for work. I'm happy, that even if I'm 99% booked, still manage to get some time for my launched habits.
Like for example, writing, I tend to write on a daily basis, and avoid breaking the chain. To manage to keep it up, I've stopped reading any news or doing social media, beside in here.
Warren Buffett has the 25 rule, where 25 priorities are written on a paper and in the end only the first 5 are pursued, where the following 20 are deleted and forgotten forever. 5 good habits can bring a person a long way ahead.
Some other habits are also kept, because, somehow, they relax make. I need something to detach and having something that I do regular, helps me concentrate and regain strength.
Writing, even if I do it in a foreign language, helps me articulate during the day. It gives me a bigger vocabulary and a wider spectrum of words to use, to have a better meaning in information transmission. It helps me a lot financially, as I manage to close better deals.
I'm struggling now to insert new habits regarding physical activity, as this is the field in my life, where I desperately require an improvement, or better said, a recovery. It will take some days to get it going, with small baby steps, but this will be my next target on the list, as a life improvement habit.
What about you? Do you use the power of habits?

The fact that you write every day is definitely paying off. I admire you for your discipline.
Do you know the book Atomic Habits by James Clear? He does a great job of highlighting the success of continuous improvement through sometimes tiny habits and gives tips on how to build new habits more easily.
Another good idea is to identify bad habits and then replace them with good habits. Removing the negative is as powerful as adding the positive... even more so if it is replaced with a positive habit.
