#AskLeo - how do you get stuff done?

Hi,

for today's #AskLeo, by @acesontop, I want to ask you something that I like to optimize now and then.

I like to be as efficient as possible, to get stuff done fast and without wasting too much time on it.

So, how do you get stuff done?

I will start with my current mode, as this has been the most relevant for me.

First, the sleep is important, the better the sleep, the better the results.

I try to put the most significant thing on the list, and start with it for the day. I leave only music going on, and the phones on silence, without anything else online.

This focused time brings me the most. It takes maximum one to two hours, after that I get tired and go into mundane tasks.

Social media is only on one device, and I check it to congratulate for birthdays. That is all.

If things are not good for me, or don't bring me anything, I say pass to them. I get sometimes requests to search for cars for other people, free of charge. This I say directly no, do your own research, if I would get paid, I would say yes. But you get my point, don't waste time on unimportant stuff.

Also, try to give work to others. For example, in Germany, you need to wash your car. I love going to countries, where for 20€ I get the car cleaned. Just pay for someone else to take care of it.

Delegate as much as it gets. I've seen some masters in this, and they run millions, as they trust the people they hire, and why not, everything is running.

This would be my list: focus on one thing a day, say no to rubbish and delegate as much as possible.

It's totally opposite in my case, I'm like an Owl who Done thing's better at late night even now it's 1am and I'm up till 4.

That's What i do but never needed to put phone on silence coz I'm no one.

To be honest, you manage your time very well. I'm impressed

Nice seems like you've pretty much friends to congratulate on their birthdays, I kinda lack friends who can congratulate me haha, Never mind.

Isn't it's quite expensive, But Got it you said try to give work to others. Though in my country $5 is too much for a car wash but mostly prefer to do it by own.
