Heavy Hitters

All Monsters have the Knock Out ability.

Use a monster with Stun ability. There is a 50% chance that your monster with Stun will be able to stun enemy monsters, but if successful, all your monsters will deal double damage to that stunned opponent.

The Battle Ruleset

Holy Protection: All Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.
Heavy Hitters: All Monsters have the Knock Out ability.
Even Stevens: Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.

This is a high mana ruleset game and almost every color is available to play, except the Life and Dragon Splinters. The high mana cap makes it very difficult to predict what my opponent will bring, because there is a lot of solid options to choose from. I will go with my favorite splinter, which is the Water deck, becaue they have a lot of strong, high mana monsters. 😉

My Team

	Kelya Frendul is a four mana Summoner who gives +1 speed and armor to all of his friendly monsters. In this battle my opponent brought the same summoner like I anticipated, so this battle was a difficult one to win and only the few differences or luck will decide.
	Arkemis the Bear is an excellent tank, because he has the Protect ability, which will provide +2 armor to all of his friendly monsters. If I can trigger his Halving ability that would be huge, because essentialy it will halves the melee damage of his target.
	The Djinn Oshannus is my personal favorite monster, because he has a very high speed and the Void ability, which will reduce all the incoming magic attacks against him. He also has high health and he is a perfect tank as well.
	Baakjira is my third off tank in this fight, because I wanted to protect my squishy attack monsters in my backline and taking advantage of the Heal ability to sustain a lot of damage as long as possible.
	The Riverboat Captain is an amazing new reward card especially if you have a golden foil version of him. He has the Affliction ability, which will remove the heal ability from his target and the Blast will deal a lot of damage to the next monster after his target.
	The Deep Lurker is an excellent melee attack monster with the Opportunity ability, which means that he will target the monster with the lowest health from the enemy backline. His Poison ability is just an amazing addition if the 50% chance will trigger it.
	The Supply Runner as the name suggest is here to supply some speed for my team and hopefully my monsters will be the first to attack in every round giving me the extra edge to decide who will be the victorious.

Unfortunately my strategy didn't worked and my opponent brought a lot of similar monsters like me. I was expecting him to do like that, so I switched my tank to Arkemis in case he will trigger his halving ability on his Diemonshark.

The Deeplurkers on both sides were lucky enough to trigger their Poison on their targets and unfortunately my Arkemis made a huge miss against his Diemonshark, which would kill him before I lose my tank.

Both of us lost the monsters with the Posion thanks to the Deeplurkers Opportunity ability in the end of the third round. Even thought I lost my DJinn Oshannus the odds very pretty similar at this stage of the battle, because both of us had only 3 monsters on the battlefield.

Sadly his Baakjira lost a bit more health than his Deeplurker, so my Deeplurker started to attack him as he was the lowest health monster on the battlefield wasting his attacks on his tank instead of his damage dealers.

His Deeplurker also Poisoned mine, which was a bummer and I have lost my only damage dealer left on the battlefield. The luck was not on my side on this battle and let's hope next time it will be. 😉

The Heavy Hitters ruleset is a pretty interesting one and you need to make sure to bring a monster with the Stun ability if you want to take advantage of that. I do not really try to build my team around it as it is not that powerful and it involves a lot of luck into the equation, which I do not really like.
