Viking
Happy Tuesday friends, today I want to present you a new portrait, this time I was inspired a bit by a theme with Viking aesthetics, I wanted my character to have makeup similar to this theme, at first I thought of something magical with cold tones but finally I decided to change the heading and some things from the initial sketch, I did this drawing a couple of days ago and I hadn't uploaded it because I don't like it that much, but many people have told me that it looks very beautiful, the only thing I love is the makeup and maybe in In the future I can recreate it in a real makeup, it would be quite interesting.
I made my sketch, as I mentioned I wanted to do something different at the beginning so the sketch did not include makeup, I had drawn a half moon on her forehead and I was thinking of applying cold tones, after a while I decided to use orange tones, a color that I don't usually use but that I wanted to try, this orange is a bit opaque, so I felt a little more comfortable working with it, I applied the tones that I chose on the face, forming the shadows and lights to create the features of the face and in new layers I started to mix these tones to give it a more realistic and soft skin, for the background I chose a similar color but with some lighter and darker lights in certain areas, creating a kind of blurry sky.
Put more details on the face, something that I really liked was painting her eyes, I chose a fairly light tone that stands out a lot with or without makeup, this type of eyes look like glass and they are my favorite to paint, then I painted the shoulders, to the hair use a dark brown color and apply highlights with light orange to create the movement of the hair, paint her lips with a dark brown tone and a low opacity, then I started to paint the makeup for which I used a black tone and a diffuse brush to give a more blurred appearance to the makeup, finally I applied some color adjustments to the image and a shadow on the left side, in the background I wanted to place some trees without branches and the drawing was ready.
I hope you liked it, I wasn't really sure about this drawing, I could say that I don't hate it but it's not my favorite either.

nice work =)
Thank you!
