Buenas noches amigos, hoy participo en el concurso de @Splinterlands con la carta de Contessa L'ament, una carta que jamás había hecho, creo que me daba algo de miedo intentarlo por todos los detalles que tiene, además de que lleva puesta esta mascara y muy pocas veces he realizado mascaras asi que temía que quedara fea, pero realmente me gusto, quise captar muchas de las cosas que tiene la imagen original, lo único que cambie un poco fue el vestuario, haciendo un vestido que muestra las piernas, pero manteniendo la mayoría de los detalles muy parecidos a el diseño original ya que me gusta mucho ese traje, fue un trabajo bastante complicado pero muy divertido de hacer, supere este miedo a dibujar mascaras y me distraje muchísimo, espero que les guste.

Good evening friends, today I participate in the contest of @Splinterlands with the card of Contessa L'ament, a card that I had never done, I think I was a little afraid to try it because of all the details it has, plus she is wearing this mask and very few times I have made masks so I was afraid that it would be ugly, but I really liked it, I wanted to capture many of the things that the original image has, the only thing I changed a little was the costume, making a dress that shows the legs, but keeping most of the details very similar to the original design because I really like that costume, it was a very complicated work but very fun to do, I overcame this fear of drawing masks and I was very distracted, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Empecé el boceto hace dos días, realmente me tomo muchísimo tiempo elaborarlo y me estrese mucho, asi que después de terminarlo lo deje asi hasta ayer que retome el dibujo de nuevo, elegí colores fríos para pintar la piel, empecé a depositar los tonos creando luces y sombras, en una nueva capa empecé a mezclar los colores creando una textura en la piel menos rustica, también mejore el aspecto de la máscara usando tonos beige y marrones, ahora agregue color a la ropa y cabello, guiándome por los colores de ropa de la carta original.

I started the sketch two days ago, it really took me a long time to elaborate it and I got very stressed, so after finishing it I left it like that until yesterday I started drawing again, I chose cold colors to paint the skin, I started to deposit the tones creating lights and shadows, in a new layer I started to mix the colors creating a less rustic skin texture, I also improved the look of the mask using beige and brown tones, now I added color to the clothes and hair, following the clothing colors of the original card.

Luego poco a poco comencé a rellenar cada prenda agregándole texturas y movimiento a la tela, después me encargue del cabello, dándole movimiento con morados claros, pinte los demás detalles como los cuernos y las marcas azules en los brazos.

Then little by little I began to fill in each garment adding textures and movement to the fabric, then I took care of the hair, giving it movement with light purples, painted the other details such as the horns and the blue marks on the arms.

Cambié el fondo a un color negro, después se me ocurrió agregar fuego con una mezcla de colores entre fríos y cálidos para seguir un poco el patrón de combinación entre la ropa y la piel, coloqué algunos brillos sobre el fuego y luego añadí algunas calaveras, después realice una nueva capa de brillos donde comencé a iluminar algunas zonas del cuerpo y rostro, finalice editando la imagen muy sutilmente sin muchos cambios, solamente quise aumentar un poco la saturación y contraste.

I changed the background to a black color, then it occurred to me to add fire with a mix of cold and warm colors to follow the pattern of combination between the clothes and the skin, I placed some glows on the fire and then added some skulls, then I made a new layer of glows where I began to illuminate some areas of the body and face, I finished editing the image very subtly without many changes, I just wanted to increase the saturation and contrast a little.
