Saludos comunidad, hoy quiero compartir este dibujo que realice a blanco y negro, vi algunos dibujos con este estilo por internet y quise probar hacer mi propia versión, me ha gustado muchísimo el contraste entre esta escala de grises pero sobre todo la iluminación del fondo, junto con la oscuridad que aplique en el rostro, creo que se ha convertido en uno de mis dibujos favoritos y pienso en hacer una especie de “colección” similar, la verdad es que es bastante llamativo a pesar de ser en blanco y negro, quise mantener la temática de mis dibujos que suelen ser nostálgicos y con esta escala de grises queda un poco mas dramático, espero que les guste tanto como me gusto a mi.

Greetings community, today I want to share this drawing that I made in black and white, I saw some drawings with this style on the internet and I wanted to try making my own version, I really liked the contrast between this gray scale but especially the lighting background, along with the darkness that I applied to the face, I think it has become one of my favorite drawings and I am thinking of making a kind of similar "collection", the truth is that it is quite striking despite being in black and white, I wanted to Keep the theme of my drawings that are usually nostalgic and with this gray scale looks a little more dramatic, I hope you like it as much as I liked it.

Proceso/Process

Comencé mi boceto con un retrato simple y realizando esta especie de luna detrás de ella, en una nueva capa comencé a aplicar los tonos grises y negros, no utilice mucho blanco puro porque quería algo un poco más opaco, asi que las iluminaciones las realice con gris claro, comencé a darle forma al rostro hasta tener una piel lisa, pinte los detalles de los ojos, cejas, pestañas y boca para que luciese mas realista, para la ropa elegí un tono gris claro pero no me gustaba como se veía asi que aplique un tono negro.

I started my sketch with a simple portrait and making this kind of moon behind it, in a new layer I started to apply the gray and black tones, I didn't use a lot of pure white because I wanted something a little more opaque, so I made the lighting with light gray, I began to shape the face until I had smooth skin, I painted the details of the eyes, eyebrows, eyelashes and mouth to make it look more realistic, for the clothes I chose a light gray tone but I did not like how it looked so I apply a black shade.

Di sombras muy ligeras en la ropa con un gris mas claro, pero sin exagerar, luego pinte su cabello con gris oscuro y realice algunos destellos de luz con gris claro, coloque un fondo oscuro y realice un elipse con gris claro, en una capa nueva encima del rostro coloque un poco de sombra usando el modo de capa de “multiplicar” y aplicando un tono negro en toda la cara, en otra capa agregue las luces, para esto si utilice algunos puntos pequeños con blanco puro, sentía que su cabello estaba muy recto, asi que decidí dibujar mas cabello formando unas ondas que se veían mas bonitas, finalmente pinte unas lagrimas saliendo de sus ojos con una opacidad baja para que no se vieran exageradas.

I gave very light shadows on the clothes with a lighter gray, but without exaggeration, then I painted her hair with dark gray and made some flashes of light with light gray, put a dark background and made an ellipse with light gray, in a new layer above the face put some shadow using the layer mode "multiply" and applying a black tone to the whole face, in another layer add the highlights, for this i used some small dots with pure white, I felt that her hair was very straight, so I decided to draw more hair forming waves that looked more beautiful, finally I painted some tears coming out of her eyes with a low opacity so they wouldn't look exaggerated.
