Buenas noches amigos, hoy me sentía muy inspirada para trabajar con mi color favorito, el morado me transmite paz, buenos recuerdos y nostalgia, por eso titule este dibujo “sensible” ya que asi me siento trabajando con este color, en esta oportunidad quise hacer un retrato bastante colorido con esta gama de morados y algunos tonos rosas, para variar y dar un contraste diferente decidí pintar los ojos de azul un color que igualmente amo y se complementa perfectamente con el morado, disfrute mucho pintar este retrato lo hice con mucho cariño, espero que les guste.

Good evening friends, today I felt very inspired to work with my favorite color, purple transmits me peace, good memories and nostalgia, that's why I titled this drawing "sensitive" because that's how I feel working with this color, this time I wanted to make a very colorful portrait with this range of purple and some pink tones, to vary and give a different contrast I decided to paint the eyes in blue a color that I also love and complements perfectly with the purple, I really enjoyed painting this portrait I did it with love, I hope you like.

Proceso/Process

Me preocupaba un poco este dibujo ya que no suelo hacer muchos retratos de perfil y a veces es difícil, pero por suerte todo salió bien, realice el boceto y luego comencé a pintar con diferentes tonos morados, claros y oscuros, luego añadí una nueva capa agregando mas colores para formar por completo el rostro en otra capa empecé a mezclar todos los colores con ayuda de un pincel duro y uno difuso, dejando asi una textura suave, lo mas difícil de pintar esta vez fue el ojo izquierdo ya que a penas se ve y me daba miedo que quedara extraño, como deforme jajaja, creo que se ve bien.

I was a little worried about this drawing since I don't usually do many profile portraits and sometimes it's difficult, but luckily everything went well, I made the sketch and then I started to paint with different purple, light and dark tones, then I added a new layer adding more colors to completely form the face in another layer I started to mix all the colors with the help of a hard brush and a diffuse one, leaving a soft texture, the most difficult thing to paint this time was the left eye because it is barely visible and I was afraid that it would look strange, like deformed hahaha, I think it looks good.

Luego pinte la ropa y el cabello, puse un tono de base morado claro en el cabello y luego empecé a añadir muchísimas sombras y luces con diferentes tonos de morados y algunos rosas, intente añadir muchos cabellos para dar un resultado un poco más realista, como siempre, agregue una capa de luces para resaltar algunas partes de rostro, como los ojos, nariz y labios, también puse algunas luces en el fondo muy sutiles, finalmente realice la edición de la imagen aumentando un poco el contraste bajando la exposición y otros ajustes muy mínimos, solo buscaba intensificar un poco mas los colores.

Then I painted the clothes and the hair, I put a light purple base tone in the hair and then I started to add a lot of shadows and lights with different shades of purple and some pinks, I tried to add a lot of hair to give a more realistic result, as always, I added a layer of lights to highlight some parts of the face, like the eyes, nose and lips, I also put some very subtle lights in the background, finally I edited the image increasing a little the contrast by lowering the exposure and other very minimal adjustments, I just wanted to intensify the colors a little more.
