Feliz fin de semana amigos. Algo que me gusta mucho utilizar en mis dibujos es el cielo, esta vez quise inspirarme en una noche de luna para crear esta obra y por supuesto usando tonos fríos, el azul es uno de los colores que más me encanta trabajar, es por eso que he decidido agregarle este tono azulado a todo mi dibujo, comencé con una idea donde la luna dejaría reposar sobre ella un rostro nostálgico que llora estrellas, también quise hacer el cielo con muchas nubes, realmente me gusto el resultado.

Something that I really like to use in my drawings is the sky, this time I wanted to be inspired by a moonlit night to create this work and of course using cold tones, blue is one of the colors that I love to work with the most, that is why I have decided to add this bluish tone to all my drawing, I started with an idea where the moon would let a nostalgic face that cries stars rest on it, I also wanted to make the sky with many clouds, I really liked the result.

Proceso/Process

Realicé mi boceto y elegí los colores con los que iba a trabajar, en este caso eran mayormente tonos azules y un poco de rosa, comencé aplicando los tonos en la piel creando la forma del rostro, en nuevas capas comencé a mezclar estos colores para obtener una piel suave y con una mejor textura.

I made my sketch and I chose the colors with which I was going to work, in this case they were mostly blue tones and a little pink, I started applying the tones on the skin creating the shape of the face, in new layers I began to mix these colors to obtain smooth skin with a better texture.

En el cabello aplique un azul oscuro para luego aplicarle iluminación con un azul más claro, como color base para la luna elegí un azul desaturado y pálido, coloque un fondo oscuro y luego aplique textura a la luna y un desenfoque alrededor de la luna para darle un poco mas de luminosidad. Con un pincel con textura de humo, comencé a pintar las nubes de fondo.

On the hair apply a dark blue and then apply lighting with a lighter blue, as the base color for the moon I chose a desaturated and pale blue, put a dark background and then apply texture to the moon and a blur around the moon to give it a little more light.
Using a smoke textured brush, I began to paint the background clouds.

Luego de pintar muchas nubes con diferentes tonalidades, aplique mas brillo a la luna usando un efecto de capa “Screen” y un azul claro, en esta misma capa agregue otras iluminaciones en el rostro para crear un poco de volumen y realismo, en una nueva capa pinte las pequeñas estrellas cayendo de los ojos, finalmente aplique un ajuste de color a toda la imagen para darle mas intensidad y profundidad.

After painting many clouds with different shades, apply more brightness to the moon using a "Screen" layer effect and a light blue, in this same layer add other highlights on the face to create a bit of volume and realism, in a new layer paint the little stars falling from the eyes, finally apply a color adjustment to the whole image to give it more intensity and depth.
