Hola chicos, hoy quiero compartir un retrato con ese aire nostálgico que tanto me gusta, algo sencillo pero que me transmite muchas cosas porque lo hago en esos momentos donde me siento vulnerable, últimamente me encanta hacer los ojos cada vez mas grandes, como he mencionado antes, los ojos para mi reflejan muchas emociones, por eso me encanta hacerlos resaltar cada vez más, aunque es bastante difícil lograr el equilibrio entre tamaño y proporción, pero sigo practicando para cada vez hacerlo mejor, espero que les guste.

Hi guys, today I want to share a portrait with that nostalgic air that I like so much, something simple but that transmits me many things because I do it in those moments where I feel vulnerable, lately I love to make the eyes bigger and bigger, as I mentioned before, the eyes for me reflect many emotions, so I love to make them stand out more and more, although it is quite difficult to achieve the balance between size and proportion, but I keep practicing to do it better and better, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Hice el boceto, un boceto de un rostro sencillo, en una capa nueva comencé a aplicar los colores en la piel, esta vez elegí unos tonos cálidos pero sin mucha saturación, en otra capa añadí mas colores para formar por completo el rostro, luego comencé a mezclarlos usando un pincel con textura.

I made the sketch, a sketch of a simple face, in a new layer I started to apply the colors on the skin, this time I chose some warm tones but without much saturation, in another layer I added more colors to completely form the face, then I started to mix them using a textured brush.

El rostro había quedado con mucha textura, entonces decidí usar el pincel difuso con una opacidad baja para comenzar a suavizar mejor la piel y eliminar tanta textura rustica que había entre un color y otro, pinté las cejas y las pestañas para luego ocuparme del cabello, el cual rellene con un marrón claro, luego utilice marrones mas oscuros porque sentía que se veía mejor de esa manera, añadí algunos reflejos de marrón claro, para el fondo pinte con algunos tonos verdes y el pincel difuso, luego quise añadirle este efecto al cabello como si hubiese una luz que refleja por la parte trasera, para terminar, empecé a darle mas color al rostro y ojos, aplicando tonos mas fuertes en algunas zonas y también algunos detalles de luz.

The face had a lot of texture, so I decided to use the diffuse brush with a low opacity to start smoothing the skin better and eliminate so much rustic texture that was between one color and the other, I painted the eyebrows and the eyelashes and then I did the hair, which I filled with a light brown, then I used darker browns because I felt it looked better that way, I added some light brown highlights, for the background I painted with some green tones and the diffuse brush, then I wanted to add this effect to the hair as if there was a light reflecting from the back, to finish, I started to add more color to the face and eyes, applying stronger tones in some areas and also some light details.

Es absolutamente hermoso este dibujo. Creo que dibujar ojos es algo que le gusta hacer a muchos artistas y mientras más grandes me parece que son más expresivos.

En lo particular ese color de ojos miel me parece muy bonito.
