Buenas noches a todos. Hace varios días que no dibujaba y hoy sentía nuevamente esas ganas de continuar con un boceto que deje a medias hace un par de semanas, siempre me ha gustado muchísimo esa teoría del efecto mariposa, por eso me encanta dibujar mariposas aunque a veces me resulta complicado, esta vez estaba buscando representar como cada decisión que tomamos en nuestra vida tiene un camino diferente, un resultado diferente, estas 4 mariposas representan cada camino que podemos tomar, el vendaje en los ojos es porque no sabemos que pasara después de cada decisión que tomemos, vivimos a ciegas y solo podemos ver el resultado de nuestras acciones cuando repercuten de una u otra manera, elegí hacer este dibujo con tonalidades azul porque es un color que transmite paz, protección y sabiduría, además de que amo este color, me encanto el resultado y me sentí muy feliz realizando este dibujo, espero que les guste.

It's been several days since I last drew and today I felt again that desire to continue with a sketch that I left half done a couple of weeks ago, I have always loved that theory of the butterfly effect, that's why I love to draw butterflies although sometimes I find it complicated, this time I was looking to represent how each decision we make in our life has a different path, a different result, these 4 butterflies represent each path we can take, the bandage on the eyes is because we do not know what will happen after each decision we make, we live blindly and we can only see the result of our actions when they have repercussions in one way or another, I chose to make this drawing with blue tones because it is a color that transmits peace, protection and wisdom, besides I love this color, I love the result and I felt very happy making this drawing, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto y comencé a pintar el fondo usando diferentes tonos de azul, luego comencé a pintar la piel la cual al principio quise que fuese de tonos desaturados y pálidos, azulados pero al mismo tiempo muy neutros, agregue una nueva capa donde añadí mas colores para terminar de formar el rostro y luego empecé a mezclar todo dejando una piel con textura, después pinte el vendaje cubriendo los ojos y la ropa.

I made the sketch and began to paint the background using different shades of blue, then I began to paint the skin which at first I wanted to be desaturated and pale tones, bluish but at the same time very neutral, I added a new layer where I added more colors to finish forming the face and then I started to mix everything leaving a textured skin, then I painted the bandage covering the eyes and clothes.

Luego pinte el cabello, al principio quería un cabello negro pero sentía que se iba a perder con el color de la ropa, asi que decidí hacerlo marrón y no me convencía para nada, no iba bien con el resto del dibujo y al final elegí una tonalidad que podría decirse que es un verde esmeralda oscuro, pinte las mariposas y les agregue luces para hacerlas resaltar, luego intensifique algunos tonos rojos en el rostro que me parecía que se veía interesante, en la nariz, labios y justo debajo del vendaje, finalmente edite la imagen a mi gusto dándole mas tonalidad azul y aumentando el contraste y saturación.

Then I painted the hair, at first I wanted black hair but I felt it would get lost with the color of the clothes, so I decided to make it brown and it didn't suit at all, it didn't go well with the rest of the drawing and in the end I chose a shade that could be said to be a dark emerald green, I painted the butterflies and added lights to make them stand out, then I intensified some red tones in the face that I thought looked interesting, in the nose, lips and just below the bandage, finally I edited the image to my liking giving it more blue tone and increasing the contrast and saturation.

Very nice work @alexa.art
I loved the color of the hair. Also the thin red line stain forming underneath the eye band in the final picture is awesome.
