Buenas noches amigos. Aunque mi estilo se basa en el semi realismo, a veces siento que no es suficiente y recuerdo un poco mis inicios e intento enfocarme en usar esas mismas técnicas cuando quiero lograr un resultado un poco mas realista, en esta oportunidad estuve trabajando en este retrato que tiene muchos de los elementos que me gustan, no estaba planeado agregar sangre a mi dibujo, pero esto era y aun es algo muy característico de mi estilo y no saben como disfruto pintar estas manchas rojas, aunque aun no consigo la formula definitiva para hacer sangre mas realista, igualmente amé el resultado de este dibujo y definitivamente representa muchos recuerdos y sentimientos que tengo guardados muy dentro de mí, espero que les guste.

Although my style is based on semi realism, sometimes I feel that it is not enough and I remember a little of my beginnings and I try to focus on using those same techniques when I want to achieve a more realistic result, this time I was working on this portrait that has many of the elements that I like, I was not planning to add blood to my drawing, but this was and still is something very characteristic of my style and you don't know how I enjoy painting these red spots, although I still don't get the definitive formula to make blood more realistic, I loved the result of this drawing and it definitely represents many memories and feelings that I have kept deep inside me, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

En este dibujo utilice solamente el pincel difuso, ya que ese era el único pincel que utilizaba cuando quería resultados realistas, entonces, hice mi boceto y elegí los colores a trabajar, esta vez quería tonos piel bastante saturados asi que fui por naranjas, beige y rosas, aplique las sombras, medios tonos y luces para luego agregar otra capa e ir aplicando muchos mas colores para terminar de formar todo el rostro, después tome nuevamente el pincel difuso y comencé a mezclar todas estas tonalidades hasta dejar una piel suave, le di muchos detalles a los ojos para hacerlos muy reales.

In this drawing I used only the diffuse brush, since that was the only brush I used when I wanted realistic results, then, I made my sketch and chose the colors to work with, this time I wanted quite saturated skin tones so I went for oranges, beige and pinks, I applied the shadows, half tones and lights to then add another layer and apply many more colors to finish forming the whole face, then I took again the diffuse brush and started to mix all these shades until I left a soft skin, I gave a lot of details to the eyes to make them very real.

Continue detallando el rostro hasta estar satisfecha con toda la piel, tambien pinte los labios, cuello, cejas y pestañas, para el cabello utilice marrón y realice varios mechones de cabello alrededor, después se me ocurrió pintar sangre, realmente este rostro era un perfecto lienzo para eso, entonces tome color naranja y rojo y comencé a jugar con estos dos tonos hasta crear líneas que lucieran algo realistas, añadí una capa de luces y comencé a resaltar algunas partes del rostro como los ojos, nariz, labios, finalice editando la imagen muy sutilmente ya que en realidad no necesitaba muchos cambios.

I continued detailing the face until I was satisfied with all the skin, I also painted the lips, neck, eyebrows and eyelashes, for the hair I used brown and made several strands of hair around it, then it occurred to me to paint blood, really this face was a perfect canvas for that, then I took orange and red and started to play with these two tones until I created lines that looked somewhat realistic, I added a layer of lights and started to highlight some parts of the face like the eyes, nose, lips, I finished editing the image very subtly since I really didn't need many changes.
