Que tal amigos, espero que estén muy bien. Hoy quiero compartirles un nuevo retrato que hice ayer, me gustó bastante porque a pesar de ser simple, tiene detalles que lo hacen ver semi realista, los ojos blancos siempre me gustan mucho y noté que tenia tiempo sin utilizarlos, asi que los aplique en esta oportunidad, dan ese toque de “vacio” que buscaba para este retrato, intenté darle muchos detalles al rostro para crear ese casi realismo que tanto me gusta, dibuje unos pequeños corazones con grietas en las mejillas, esto fue improvisado pero la idea me gustó.

Today I want to share with you a new portrait I made yesterday, I liked it a lot because despite being simple, it has details that make it look semi realistic, the white eyes I always like a lot and I noticed that I had some time without using them, so I applied them this time, they give that touch of "emptiness" that I was looking for for this portrait, I tried to give a lot of details to the face to create that almost realism that I like so much, I drew some small hearts with cracks in the cheeks, this was improvised but I liked the idea.

Proceso/Process

Últimamente me cuesta mucho pensar en algunas ideas así que prefiero realizar un boceto sencillo e ir agregándole cosas según vaya pintando, por este motivo dije que los corazones en la mejilla fueron improvisados, después de tener el boceto listo, agregue una nueva capa donde comenzaría a pintar utilizando el pincel difuso, con el cual coloque los colores claros y oscuros para guiarme donde irían las luces y sombras, seguido de esto agregué nuevamente otra capa donde comencé a rellenar con un pincel mas duro y muchos colores más que perfilarían mucho mejor el rostro, cambie a otro pincel con textura para mezclar los colores del rostro y luego repase con el pincel difuso para crear asi esa piel mas suave sin tanta textura, para el cabello use un marrón oscuro de base, pues este color con la piel tan clara me encanta.

Lately I find it hard to think of some ideas so I prefer to make a simple sketch and add things as I paint, for this reason I said that the hearts on the cheek were improvised, after having the sketch ready, I added a new layer where I would begin to paint using the diffuse brush, with which I placed the light and dark colors to guide me where the lights and shadows would go, after this I added again another layer where I started to fill with a harder brush and many more colors that would outline much better the face, I changed to another brush with texture to mix the colors of the face and then review with the diffuse brush to create that softer skin without so much texture, for the hair I used a dark brown base, because i love how this color look with this light skin.

Terminé de pintar la mano y pinte el cabello con marrón claro para darle textura y movimiento, oscurecí un poco el retrato y luego se me ocurrió pintar estos corazones que simulan ser un hueco, pinte líneas irregulares muy pequeñas alrededor para hacer ese efecto de grietas, agregue algunas iluminaciones al rostro sin exagerar mucho ya que esta vez quería un resultado mas natural, asi que tuve que dejar de lado esa obsesión por llenar todo de brillo, para el fondo elegí hacer algo sencillo y con colores similares a los del dibujo, por eso creé un gradiente de dos tonos.

I finished painting the hand and painted the hair with light brown to give it texture and movement, I darkened a little the portrait and then I painted these hearts that simulate a hole, I painted very small irregular lines around to make that effect of cracks, I added some highlights to the face without exaggerating too much because this time I wanted a more natural result, so I had to leave aside that obsession to fill everything with brightness, for the background I chose to do something simple and with colors similar to those of the drawing, so I created a two-tone gradient.
